Decent spot for coffee and cake. Interior is spacious, and the cake selection changes daily. Tried the hazelnut one, pretty good.

Stopped by for a quick bite and a glass of wine. The focaccia was really good, soft and fresh. They've got a solid wine selection too, not the usual stuff you see everywhere. Picked up a few Italian things to take home for dinner. Place was a bit busy but that's fine. I'll be back when I'm in the area.

Stopped by for lunch after wandering around Speyer. Beer selection was solid, went with their house pilsner which paired nicely with the schnitzel. Place has that proper brewery feel, nothing fancy but comfortable. Service quick enough, though it did get busy around noon. Fair prices for what you get.

Coffee was solid, and the in-house roast really stands out. Fruit kuchen was fresh too. Place is right in the center of Speyer, easy to find. Service fine, no complaints. Just wish the cups were a bit bigger for the price.

Service was friendly and we sat outside which was nice. Ice cream tasted good but honestly the scoop was kinda small for what you pay. Cute spot to hang with friends though 🙂

The Käsespätzle was a solid, hearty portion. Felt like a proper local lunch spot, nothing fancy, just honest food. Staff were friendly too.

Been coming here for a while now, the vegan currywurst keeps me coming back. Cozy spot, easy on the wallet. Just wish they'd open a bit earlier on weekends.

The Maultaschen were the highlight for me - really fresh and hearty. Dark beer went well with it. Service was quick even though the place was busy.

Stopped by for a quick bite and honestly the desserts were the highlight. Got a table without waiting but it’s pretty cramped inside. Staff were friendly enough. Would come back if I’m in the area and craving something sweet. Maybe book ahead if you’re with a group.

The Flammkuchen was solid, but the pasta fell flat for me. Staff were nice about the wait though. Maybe stick to the tapas if you go.

Spacious and quiet for a Turkish spot—finally not squeezed between tables. Food was solid, nothing crazy, but I'd come back for the room alone.

Lovely spot with a nice view over the valley. Breakfast was well laid out and fresh. Owners were friendly and made sure everything was taken care of. Seating was comfortable too.

Big salads and a solid burger menu right by Bismarckplatz. Got there on a Saturday without a reservation and waited a bit, so book ahead if you can.

Stopped by for a quick bite and grabbed a couple of slices. Pizza was decent, nothing fancy, but it hit the spot. Staff were friendly and didn't have to wait long even though it was pretty busy. Sat by the window and watched people pass by, which was nice. Fine if you just want something easy without fuss.

Nice spot right by the river for a drink. Beer garden was lovely, staff friendly enough. Just wish they had more shade, got a bit warm sitting out.

The Palatinate gin and tonic was solid, and drink prices are fair. Place was buzzing though, so don't expect a quiet chat. Popular spot for a reason.

Emir was a solid waiter, quick and funny. Helped us figure out the menu since our German is rough. Food and beer hit the spot.

Schnitzel was solid. Crispy, juicy, not dry at all. Potato salad had a nice tangy kick to it. Ingredients felt fresh, you could tell they put some thought into the prep. Place was busy but food came out quick enough. Nothing fancy, just good honest cooking. Would eat that schnitzel again.

The cakes here are a bit on the pricey side, but honestly, the quality makes up for it. I tried the pistachio tart and it was properly flaky, not too sweet. Service was a bit slow when I visited, but the pastry chef clearly knows their stuff. Would come back for that tart alone.

The outdoor seating area is really nice, especially when the weather cooperates. We sat outside and it felt pretty relaxed, not too crowded. Food was decent, had a veggie option that worked fine. They also have this tasting rack for craft beers which is a nice touch. Prices seemed fair for what you get. Service was friendly enough, nothing to complain about.

The breakfast buffet had a nice variety and the staff were friendly. Chocolate selection looked great too, though I only tried a piece of cake. Comfortable spot to sit and take your time.

The pizza was proper—light crust, nice chew, tomato sauce actually tasted of something. Felt genuinely Italian in there, even if you're squeezed in a bit. Just watch the bill, mine came out a little higher than the menu said. Staff were friendly enough though.
