Came for dinner last week, the food was really good and the wine pairing worked well. We ended up buying a few boxes from their little vineyard shop on the way out. Only thing is the place got pretty busy around 8, so service slowed down a bit. But overall a solid spot if you're in the area.

We stopped by on a warm evening and grabbed a table in the garden. The pasta tasted properly fresh, not the usual reheated stuff. Wine list had a few decent options, though the one we picked was a bit pricey for what it was. Service was friendly but a little slow between courses. Still, a solid spot if you're in the area.

The grilled vegetables were fresh and nicely seasoned. Simple food, done well. Portion size was decent for the price.

Second visit with six people, still solid. Kaiserschmarren was the highlight, no complaints there. Service kept up fine even when the place got busy. Portions are fair for what you pay.

Stopped here on a whim and honestly it was better than expected. The salad was fresh, not the sad limp stuff you sometimes get. Courtyard seating is nice and shady, good for a slow afternoon. Only thing is the service was a bit slow, but I wasn't in a hurry anyway.

Cozy spot, good for a casual lunch. Ordered the steak frites. Steak was cooked as requested, fries were crisp. Service was prompt. The location is convenient, just a short walk from the metro. Prices are reasonable for the area.

Dining inside a castle ruin was pretty cool, not gonna lie. I went for the meat dishes and they didn't disappoint. The seasonal asparagus soup was a nice touch too. Staff were friendly enough. Just a heads up, it's a bit on the pricier side, but for the setting, I get it.

The linguine with scampi was really good—that sauce had something special to it. My friend ordered the beef fillet in green pepper sauce and it was cooked properly too. Place is about ten minutes from Bismarckplatz, which worked fine for us. Service was friendly enough, nothing to complain about. I'd sit outside again if the weather allows.

The grilled octopus was properly charred and tender, and that homemade tzatziki really stood out. They also brought out complimentary olives, bread, and a little ouzo at the end which was a nice touch. Service was friendly but a bit slow between courses. Still, I'd come back for that octopus.

The homemade pasta was the highlight — you can taste the care in every bite. Service gets a bit slow when it's busy, but worth the wait.

The interior is quite fancy, and the location couldn't be better. But service was really slow, and I noticed the floor wasn't clean. A bit of a shame, since the place has potential. Food was decent though, so I'd probably give it another shot on a less busy evening.

Friendly staff and quick service even when it was busy. Sat outside which was nice. Good spot for a casual bite.

The pizza was really good, that’s the main thing. But service was all over the place, took forever to get our drinks and they messed up one order. We still got everything eventually, just had to remind them. For the price though, the portion was decent, so I can’t complain too much. Would go back for the food, just not when I’m in a hurry.

Reasonable prices for what you get — a full meal for 10-20 euros is hard to beat. Staff were friendly too. Would've liked a better wine option to pair with the main course, but the food held up fine on its own.

The wild boar liver dumplings were really good. Proper Palatinate food with a bit of Italian influence. Wine matched well. Place was busy for a Tuesday, but service kept up fine. Not cheap, but you get what you pay for. I'd go back if I'm in the area again.

Came here with a couple of friends on a weekday evening. The interior is really stylish but still cozy, not too loud so we could actually chat. We shared a few dishes, the pasta was decent, nothing crazy but fine. Service was a bit slow though, took a while to get our drinks. Still, nice spot for a relaxed catch-up.

The staff really knew their stuff about allergens — even pointed out what to avoid without me asking. Fried potatoes were spot on too.

The breakfast buffet had good variety, but I struggled to find enough vegetarian options. The staff were friendly and quick to clear plates. €24 felt a bit much for what I ended up eating. Fresh fruits and bread were nice, though I wished for more hot veggie dishes.

The lunch menu had spinach chicken and dal that were properly spiced, no complaints there. Samosa appetizer felt small for what they charge though. Meal was decent for the price.

The drink menu is quite long, I’ll give them that. I had the spaghetti and it was really good, fresh tasting. Staff were friendly enough to help us figure out what to order. Only thing is it got a little busy later, but that’s fine.

Been coming here for lunch quite a bit. The daily menu changes, and the home-style Italian stuff is always solid. Had a really good pasta dish last week, simple but cooked right. Service is friendly, no complaints there. Portions are decent for the price, too. Just wish they had a bit more seating, gets crowded around noon.

The Texas bacon cheeseburger was really good, fresh bun and the patty had nice flavor. I sat on the terrace, view is lovely. Only thing, tables for two are a bit squeezed in. Staff smiled a lot, felt welcoming. Would come back for the burger alone, just maybe earlier to get a better spot.

The palak paneer was solid—that kasuri methi really comes through. Paired it with a Kingfisher, worked nicely. Old Indian songs in the background made it feel proper cozy.

The Flammkuchen here is seriously good—crispy crust, classic toppings, probably the best I’ve had in Heidelberg. They really push their dark beer with it, and honestly, it works. Came with a couple of friends on a random weekday evening, place had a nice buzz without being chaos. Only thing: we waited a bit for the table, but once we sat down, everything came quick. Solid spot if you’re hanging out with people. 🍺

The broth here is what gets me—clear, light, and properly balanced. Sirloin was tender, noodles had that right chew. Best pho I've found in the city so far.

The salmon sashimi was really good—fresh, thick cuts, exactly what I wanted. The creative rolls are fun too, though the place gets a bit cramped once it fills up. I sat near the window and the light was nice, but the chairs aren't the most comfortable for a long meal. Still, solid spot for sushi.

Went in expecting a typical sports bar, but it’s actually pretty cozy inside. Had the Baden cuisine—portion was huge, definitely didn’t leave hungry. Food came out hot and fresh. Only thing is it got a bit loud later in the evening, but that’s on me for going at peak time. Solid spot if you’re in the area.

The host remembered our wine preference from last visit—that never happens. Grüner Veltliner paired beautifully with the schnitzel. Place was busy but we never felt rushed.
