Lovely spot with a nice view over the valley. Breakfast was well laid out and fresh. Owners were friendly and made sure everything was taken care of. Seating was comfortable too.

Big salads and a solid burger menu right by Bismarckplatz. Got there on a Saturday without a reservation and waited a bit, so book ahead if you can.

Great wine list and the food matched it well. Service was friendly even though they were slammed on a Saturday. Nice to find a spot that feels genuinely family-run.

Service was spot on, food looked great too. Family-run spot, felt pretty authentic without any fuss. Hard to find places like that these days.

We stopped by for a quick lunch and I was happy with the falafel plate. The seitan döner looked good too, maybe next time. The backyard seating is a nice little hideaway, quiet enough to actually relax. Staff was friendly, didn’t rush us at all. Only thing, it took a bit to get our order, but no big deal. I’d come back.

The döner pizza was huge, almost 30 cm, and the crust was properly crispy from the brick oven. Sauce was solid too. Service quick, though it can get a bit loud inside. Good for the price.

The Sakura cocktail was the highlight—sweet, floral, went down way too fast. Staff were chill and the view was calm, nice spot to just sit for a bit. Only thing, card machine wasn’t working, so bring cash. Didn’t expect that, but no big deal.

Been coming here for a while now. The escargot is still as good as the first time I tried it. Garlic butter done right, not too heavy. Staff remembers me, which is always a plus. Wine list is okay, nothing fancy, but it does the job. Place gets a bit loud later in the evening, but that's part of the charm I guess. Solid spot if you know what you're looking for.

Stopped by for a quick bite and grabbed a couple of slices. Pizza was decent, nothing fancy, but it hit the spot. Staff were friendly and didn't have to wait long even though it was pretty busy. Sat by the window and watched people pass by, which was nice. Fine if you just want something easy without fuss.

Great view, no doubt. Food was solid too. Service got a bit messy when it got busy—mains came out at different times. Had to flag someone down for basics. Still, the setting kinda saved it.

The croquetas were creamy and really tasty. Sangria was good too. Place gets busy, so definitely book a table beforehand.

The mango lassi was solid—better than most Indian spots I've been to. Place had a nice warm vibe too. Service kept it simple, no complaints.

The vaulted cellar really makes this place. Low ceilings, candlelight, that old stone feel — instantly cozy. Baked black pudding was the highlight, rich and hearty. Crème brûlée had that perfect crack on top. Service was warm without hovering. Just a lovely evening down there.

The pork knuckle was spot on. Crispy skin, tender inside, proper mustard on the side. Beer garden was fine but I didn't really care about that. Wait took a bit after ordering, maybe fifteen minutes. Didn't bother me though. The sauerkraut had just the right tang. Would eat that again.

The merluza a la romana was the reason I came, and it didn’t disappoint. That sauce though—so simple, but it just works. I’m still thinking about it days later. Probably the only thing I’d order again, honestly.

The chicken skewers were decent but honestly the spring rolls stole the show. Portion size felt a bit small for what we paid though.

Been coming here for a while now. The steak tartare at the table never gets old, and that spaghetti in the parmesan wheel is still my go-to. Service stays friendly too.

Schnitzel was solid. Crispy, juicy, not dry at all. Potato salad had a nice tangy kick to it. Ingredients felt fresh, you could tell they put some thought into the prep. Place was busy but food came out quick enough. Nothing fancy, just good honest cooking. Would eat that schnitzel again.

Solid meal at this place in Heidelberg. Schnitzel was cooked right, service kept it moving without hovering. Room felt a bit tight but that's fine for the old town. Would come back if I'm in the area again.

The chicken enchiladas were the highlight. Sauce had real depth, cheese melted properly. Nachos decent too, not soggy. City center spot, easy to find. Portion size fair for the price. Would get the enchiladas again.

Decent place for a traditional Bavarian beer hall vibe. We got the pork knuckle and some of their house beer, which was pretty good and not too pricey. Food was solid, nothing fancy. Probably more fun if you come with a bigger group. Service was fine, a bit slow at times but okay.

The pizza here is legit — thin crust, crispy, not drowning in toppings. Honestly reminded me of the ones I had in Italy. Tiramisu was just okay, nothing special. Place itself is pretty cozy, decent seating. I’d come back for the pizza alone, maybe skip dessert next time.

The vegan options here surprised me, honestly. For an Italian place, they actually put thought into it. I had the curry risotto, that Italian-Indian crossover thing, and it worked. Paired it with a decent glass of Chianti, which held up fine against the spice. Place was a bit loud for my taste, but the food made up for it.

The outdoor seating area is really nice, especially when the weather cooperates. We sat outside and it felt pretty relaxed, not too crowded. Food was decent, had a veggie option that worked fine. They also have this tasting rack for craft beers which is a nice touch. Prices seemed fair for what you get. Service was friendly enough, nothing to complain about.

The insalata Nizza and tortellini vegetali were both solid—fresh ingredients, balanced flavors. The free bread and bruschetta were a nice touch, and the cassata Siciliana rounded it off well. Service was efficient, no complaints there. Decent spot if you're in the area and want a reliable meal without fuss.

The terrace view is really something, and the wine list is solid. We let the sommelier pick for us, and he nailed it. Portions are on the smaller side though, so if you're hungry, order a starter. Also, they forgot to mention the amuse-bouche had nuts in it until we asked. Just double-check if you have allergies.

The braised ox cheeks were so tender, seriously melted in my mouth 😍 Service was super attentive too. Definitely coming back with my friends!

The salmon was buttery and the pasta had that perfect bite. Quite pricey for what you get, but the quality of the ingredients really came through.

The Balfego tuna and Miyazaki beef really stood out — clean, high-quality stuff, no overcomplicating. Two Michelin stars feel right. Just wish the pacing was a bit quicker.

We ended up here with the kids on a busy evening. Place was packed inside, but they set us up outside without a fuss. Food came fast, which was a lifesaver. Portions were decent for the price, nothing crazy but fair. Kids were happy, we got to eat in peace. That's about all you can ask for sometimes.
