Decent little Irish pub tucked in the back courtyard. Small and a bit loud, but that's part of the charm. Stopped by for a pint and it felt properly authentic. Not fancy, but it doesn't need to be. Good spot if you're after something low-key.

The strudel and the view are why people keep coming back. Sad to hear the lease might end this place.

The black pudding from the "Grandma's home-cooked" section really stood out. Rich, fatty, proper texture. Came with boiled potatoes and stewed cabbage, simple but worked well together. Portion was decent for the price. Place was busy, so service took a while, but the food made up for it. Would go back for that pudding alone.

Went for the Cretan platter—generous portions, solid flavors. House wine paired better than expected with the grilled meats. Service was warm, though a bit slow mid-service.

The Jagerschnitzel was solid. Pork cutlet crispy, mushroom sauce actually had flavor. Kaiserschmarrn came hot with plum compote on the side. Portion big enough to skip dinner later. English menu helped since my German is rough. Nothing fancy but the food did what it needed to do.

Pizza was solid—loaded with salami and sausage, way better than the usual American style. Place was busy when I walked in, but the service kept up fine. Not the cheapest, but the portion matched the price. If you're in the area and want something beyond the standard slice, this works.

Dropped by for dinner and honestly the food was really good. Plating looked nice too, though you pay a bit more for it. Not a place I'd hit every week, but fine for a treat. Service was chill, didn't rush us.

Michael's a great host, kept our glasses full all night. Food was solid, though the menu changes so often I couldn't get the same dish twice.

Beef with pepper sauce was solid. Tender, sauce had a bit of kick. Garden out back is decent, kids liked the swing. Service quick enough. Fine for a stop if you're in the area.

The lunch special is where it’s at. Curries came out fragrant, proper spice level, not that watered-down stuff. Portion was solid for the price. Dinner menu though? Feels overpriced for what you actually get. Stick to the midday deal and you’re fine.

Popped in for a quick breakfast with a friend and grabbed a few pastries to go. The apricot donuts were still warm, honestly the best part. Prices are a bit higher than your average bakery, but the quality makes up for it. Place was busy, so we just took ours outside. Would come back for the nut pastry alone. 🙂

The French breakfast theme was delicious, quality over quantity. Tea selection's great too, just expect a wait on weekends.

Found this place on a Sunday night when most spots were already closed. Good thing we walked in. The tiramisu hit the spot after dinner, not too sweet, nice coffee kick. Service was quick, no fuss. Had a glass of house red with the pasta, paired better than expected. Solid choice if you're in the area and hungry late.

The wine list is solid, plenty of good options by the glass. Truffle dishes were generous too. Just wish the seating was a bit more comfortable, the chairs got hard after a while.

Lunch buffet’s a steal on weekdays—same huge spread for less. Grabbed a glass of Grüner Veltliner with mine, worked perfectly. One of the better deals around here.

Been coming here for a while now, and the service stays consistent. Even on a packed evening, they got us seated and served without the usual wait. The free tap water right when you sit down—small thing, but it shows they pay attention. That's mainly why I keep coming back, honestly. Just solid, dependable.

Stopped by for a quick lunch. Got the gluten-free option and they actually knew what they were doing. Staff answered questions without hesitation. Food came out fast, which I appreciated. Price was fair for what you get. Place had a decent vibe too. Solid spot if you're in the area and short on time.

The garden seating is the reason to come here—tucked back from the street, you almost forget you're in the middle of the city. I had the green curry and it was properly spicy, the kind that makes you slow down and actually taste it. Seafood salad was fresh too. Just wish they'd brought the drinks out a bit sooner.

The shiro miso soup was the real deal—tasted like something I had in a tiny spot in Kyoto. Simple but deep flavor. Portion was decent for the price too. I’d come back just for that bowl, honestly. The rest of the meal was fine, but that soup carried it.

Solid sushi spot in Gmunden. Fish was fresh, rice well seasoned. Paid around €30 for lunch, which is steep for the area, but the quality holds up. Service was efficient, no fuss. If you're after decent sushi without driving to Salzburg, this works.

Tuna was easily the best I've had in a while. Grilled calamari was solid too. Not cheap, but the quality justifies it.

Nice little place. The seasonal cake was fresh and the coffee done right. Terrace is a bonus when the weather cooperates.

Solid hotpot spot. Broth was flavorful, ingredients tasted fresh. Staff came by to top up the broth without us asking. Place fills up fast, so booking a table is the smart move. We walked in and had to wait about 20 minutes. Fine for a quick bite, just don't come starving.

Stopped by for lunch on a workday. Daily special was under €10, went with the goulash—solid choice for cold weather. Service was quick, no fuss. Place was busy but I got a seat right away. Fine if you need something decent and fast without overthinking it.

The staff here are always nice, that’s for sure. Pizza was solid, and the kebab hit the spot too. I had the salmon though, and the sauce made it a bit too greasy for my taste. Still, it was fine overall. Place has a decent vibe, nothing fancy, but comfortable enough to sit and eat.

Came for the kardinalschnitte and honestly the view alone is worth it. Coffee was solid, cake was light and not too sweet. Prices fair for the spot. Bit crowded when we went but we still found a table by the window. Would pop in again if I'm in the area. ☕
