Sat on the terrace for a good hour, just watching the village go by. Pastries were solid — the apple strudel had a nice flaky crust, not too sweet. Service was quick even though it was busy. Only thing, coffee came out a bit lukewarm. Still, a decent stop if you're in the area and want to slow down for a bit.

The vegan schnitzel was honestly the highlight—crispy without being dry, and the portion left me completely stuffed. Place has this laid-back vibe that fits the neighborhood perfectly. Only downside, it got pretty busy around 7 and we waited a bit for our table. Still, that schnitzel alone makes me want to come back.

The goulash was really good, rich and tender. But honestly, the portion felt a bit small for what you pay. It's not cheap here, though the beer selection is solid. I'd come back for a proper sit-down meal, just maybe not when I'm starving.

We were extremely pleased with our experience at Holzpodl. We have been there multiple times and have never been dissapointed with the food or ambience. Really looking forward to the next time!

Been coming here for a while now, and the pancakes with mango ice cream are still as good as the first time. Fresh, not too sweet, just right. Server was friendly too, didn’t rush us. Place gets busy, but it’s worth it. Consistent, which is why I keep coming back.

Fresh ingredients really shine here — my pasta tasted vibrant and well-made. Solid spot for a casual Italian dinner, nothing fancy but satisfying.

The apple strudel here is seriously good, probably the best I've had in Linz. Drinks were solid too. Right in the center, easy to find.

Came for lunch and honestly left surprised. The espresso alone was worth it — proper strong, not the watery stuff you usually get. Place is right in the center, easy to find. Service was friendly enough, no complaints there. Just a solid spot if you're nearby and want something quick. Maybe not mind-blowing, but it does the job.

The moussaka was really well-prepared — layers were soft and the seasoning just right. Fresh ingredients for sure. We sat outside and it felt properly Greek. Would come back for that dish alone.

The garlic naan was proper—soft, charred in the right spots. Paneer tikka masala had that deep, smoky flavor you don't get often. Honestly some of the best Indian food I've had outside India. Place was busy but the food came quick enough. I'd go back just for that naan.

Came with friends who were visiting from abroad. The view over Linz really is something, even on a cloudy evening. We had the BBQ spare ribs, they were properly sticky and tender. Service was friendly and fast, which surprised me since the place was packed. Only thing, it's a bit pricey for what you get, but the setting makes up for it.

Stopped by for dinner and the owner actually took time to explain the menu since it's only in German. That saved us. Food was solid, nothing fancy, but the service made the difference. Fair price for what you get. Would come back if I'm in the area again.

Grilled octopus was spot on, and the Greek coffee actually tasted like home. Owner came by for a quick chat, felt genuine. Place gets busy, so don't expect lightning-fast service.

Stopped by for a quick dinner, place was clean and the guy at the counter was friendly. Pizza came out hot, crust was decent. Nothing fancy but it hit the spot. Maybe a bit pricey for what you get, but I'd go back if I'm in the area.

The sushi was fresh enough, though the salmon felt a bit inconsistent. A crisp white helped the nigiri come together nicely. Solid spot if you're in the area.

Lovely little spot with the vaulted ceiling and record player spinning in the background. Felt classy without being pretentious. Would happily sit there again.

Really cool vibe, the wait staff was pleasant and friendly, and the food was delicious. Would definitely recommend ???? ????
