The bacon roll was good, but the scones are the reason I'd go back. They were warm, crumbly in the right way, and the homemade jam had a nice sharpness to it. The clotted cream was rich without being too heavy.

The breaded haddock was the star for me – super flaky inside with a really crisp, light batter. Portions are generous, too. A solid spot in Stonehaven.

Love the vibe in this French cafe. The coffee mugs and plates have this rustic, mismatched charm that makes it feel so cozy. Grabbed a coffee and just enjoyed sitting there for a bit. Will definitely pick up a bag of their beans next time.

We popped in yesterday afternoon for a cup of tea and a scone. Lovely welcoming cheery staff. They are so quick at bringing the tea and bakes to your table. Hubby had a scone but I 'splashed' out and chose the last strawberry tart! It was so delicious, and packed with strawberries, not just one plopped on top as is usual! It is THE Best one Ive ever tasted. Cant wait to drive down from Aberdeen to go back there again. Very reasonable prices as well.

Decided to try their breakfast for a change. The small space is actually quite cosy. Had the avocado toast with poached eggs – the eggs were spot on, runny yolk and all. Coffee was decent. Good spot for a casual bite.

Came with a big group of 8 for a quick lunch. They got all our orders out fast, no fuss. Everyone was happy with their food. Good spot when you need a reliable, speedy meal for a crowd.

The full Scottish breakfast was cooked just right. They were also really helpful with my dairy-free request.

The Sunday roast beef was spot on. Had a nice glass of red with it, a solid pairing that really worked. Staff were lovely with the kids, which made for a relaxed afternoon. A bit pricey for a roast, but you get what you pay for.

The separate gluten-free and dairy-free menus are a thoughtful touch. Made it easy to choose without worrying about ingredients.

The steak was cooked just right, medium-rare and very tender. The béarnaise sauce was rich and the thick-cut chips were spot on.

Perfect for a quick lunch. Right in the city centre, so easy to get to. The interior is modern and bright, feels comfortable. Got my food in under 10 minutes. Exactly what I needed on a busy day.

The breakfast portions are generous, which is nice. I really appreciate that everything is freshly cooked. The ingredients taste so vibrant. The presentation is lovely too. Good value for the price.

Love the light in here, especially on the verandah. Felt like sitting in a big, airy sunroom. The old bowling pavilion windows let in so much sun. A really peaceful spot for a quiet coffee.

Love their morning rolls! Crispy sausage with soft toasted bread is a great combo. Nice spot by the beach too.

Hannah was so friendly, really made us feel at home. The food was full of flavour, especially the lamb dish. A nice, relaxed spot for a casual dinner.

Ordered through their app, super easy. The food and drinks just show up at your table. Nice spot to meet friends, right in the centre. The beer list is decent!

The vegan sharing board was a nice surprise! Had a bit of everything, sweet and savoury. Perfect for picking at with a friend.

Busy Sunday morning, but worth the wait. I really appreciated the fresh ingredients in my breakfast - you could tell the eggs were just cooked and the avocado was perfectly ripe. The hot drink was a nice touch too.

The chicken in a bun was spot-on comfort food. Their house lager was a surprisingly good match for the zinger-style patty.

Jamie and Ben handled the rush well, service was smooth. The katsu curry had a nice crunch and the sauce wasn't too sweet. Solid choice when it's packed.

The fish and chips were solid, fresh and well-cooked. The fried scampi was a highlight, very tasty. Good portion sizes for the price. Service was efficient. A reliable spot for a straightforward meal.

Been grabbing their hot chocolate a lot lately. It's consistently just right - not too sweet, properly hot. That's actually harder to find than you'd think.

Popped in for lunch. Alexis was really helpful with the menu, super friendly. The food came out quick and was spot on for the price. Just a nice, easy meal.

The festive menu was a real treat for our office lunch. The turkey was moist, and the gravy had a nice depth to it. Staff were cheerful, kept the drinks topped up. Made a long week feel a bit brighter.

Cosy spot, and they're really dog-friendly which is a plus. The staff kept the place immaculate, wiping down tables as soon as people left. My spaniel was very content under the table.

Fourth time getting the 32oz tomahawk here. It was so tender this time, just melted. Cooked exactly how we like it.
