Been coming here for years now. What keeps me coming back is that the kitchen never misses - every dish has these layers of flavour you can really pick apart. It's just consistently good.

The beef bourguignon was pretty good, rich and tender. A nice surprise from the staff at the end, too.

Stayed here for a night. The room was clean and comfortable, and it was nice and quiet. Breakfast in the morning was pretty good. A decent spot for a short stay.

The Big Stuff Pizza was really good. I liked how fresh the toppings were, especially the vegetables. The crust had a nice crisp to it. A solid choice for a pub meal.

The coffee here is solid. Americano had no burnt taste, which is a win for me. The bakery display is a nice touch, makes picking a pastry easy. Grabbed a croissant to go.

Service was quick and friendly. Restaurant was clean. Location worked well for my hotel. That’s it. 👍

The Sunday roast was lovely. I really appreciated how fresh the vegetables were, and the chicken was cooked just right. A nice, wholesome meal for a quiet weekend.

Popped in for brunch. The avocado toast was spot on, really fresh. Sat out on the terrace, nice and sunny. Good way to spend a lazy morning.

Perfect for a special dinner. The presentation is stunning, really took the time with each plate. The scallop starter was spot on, and the lamb main was cooked just right. Service was attentive without being overbearing. A bit on the pricier side, but you get what you pay for.

Loved the cakes here, they're not overly sweet at all. Perfect for a little catch-up with friends over coffee. We shared a slice of the lemon drizzle and it was just right.

The non-alcoholic pairing was the highlight. Really creative drinks that matched each course.

The staff are so good with kids, and service is always quick. It's become our go-to for family dinners. Portions are generous for the price, which is a huge plus when you're feeding a family. We usually get the kids' pasta and a couple of pizzas to share.

The beef shin ragu was so good. I'd happily come back just for that. The menu looked great, seeing other dishes go by made me want to try more. A comfortable spot for a quiet meal.

Been here a few times over the years. The atmosphere is nice, especially when it's busy with students. Food's decent for the price.

Popped in for a pint with mates. The beer garden's view over Bristol is the real draw. Had those festive roasties with gravy and truffle oil. They were spot on, really tasty. Good spot for a casual drink.

Nice spot to unwind. Drinks are fairly priced for this neighbourhood, which is a plus. The vibe is relaxed and welcoming – just what you want after a long day. It’s always a pleasant, easy visit.

Been coming here for years, and the outdoor seating is still my favourite spot. It's just a really nice place to unwind with a pint when the sun's out. The vibe is consistently good, which is what keeps me coming back.

Tried the lunch menu. Decent portions for the price, which was nice. The menu is small, so picking something wasn't a headache for once. Had the pasta special. Solid choice for a quick bite.

Been here a few times with friends. Staff are good at handling busy tables, never felt rushed. They just get on with it, which is nice.

A nice place for a drink. The seating is really comfortable, which I appreciate. The interior has some lovely details, like the bookshelves and coloured glass. It's a relaxing spot to unwind.

They handled the pescatarian tasting menu adjustments really well. Everything felt natural, not like an afterthought.

The smoked salmon tagliatelle was lovely, but the real star for me was the space itself. So light and airy, with these big windows and really comfortable chairs. Just a nice, relaxed spot for a meal.

The tacos and wrap were cold, which was a shame. The drinks were good though, and the place has a nice, lively vibe.

The service at Canon was exceptional, especially from Oliver and Will, who were attentive to our needs and made sure we felt comfortable with our allergies.

No reservations for small groups, so had to queue for 15 mins. Staff were really on it though, got my order sorted fast. Good spot for a quick, relaxed lunch. Music was decent too.
