Gabrielle's smile was so warm, it felt like being welcomed by a friend. My seat had a patch of tape, which was a bit of a shame. But her service really made the evening.

Sunday roast is the go-to. Beef was super tender, potatoes spot on. Chef Ted knows his stuff. Got my order in and out in 20 mins on a busy day. Perfect for a quick, solid meal.

Tried the carrot cake on a whim, it's homemade and honestly so good. You can tell it's fresh, not overly sweet. The texture is spot on. Might be a bit pricey for a slice, but I'd get it again.

The food here is so pretty and creative, not your usual pub grub. Perfect for catching up with friends over something a bit special.

The steak and ale pie was very good, with properly tender slow-cooked beef. The chips were nice and crispy. It's a solid choice for a decent pub meal.

Booked a table but had to wait a bit when we got there. The downstairs seating area could do with a refresh, it's not as nice as upstairs.

This place is a winner if you've got a dog. They had treats ready at the bar for my pup, which was a nice touch. The patio out back is lovely for a sunny afternoon pint. My only gripe is that it got a bit crowded later on.

I had a lovely afternoon tea experience here with my family. The cakes and sandwiches were not only delicious but also elegantly presented, making for a delightful dining experience in a comfortable setting.

One of the best sushi place in Bristol, the food is great and reasonably priced. Always love to come here and the staff is nice and friendly!

Loved the buzz here, but the tables are spaced just right so you can still hear your friends. The warm lighting really adds to it. A nice spot for a proper chat over dinner.

Been coming here for years, and the service is always spot on. Imo was really helpful explaining the menu again this time.

The kleftico was the standout. Slow-cooked lamb, fell apart with a fork. The flavour was deep, savoury, with a hint of oregano. The mixed grill was solid, but the lamb shoulder was on another level. That's what I'd come back for.

A proper little gem, so cozy and spacious. The vegan brownies were a standout—rich and fudgy. Staff were really lovely too.

The rooms were really spacious and spotless. Perfect for crashing after a long day of hiking. Felt like a proper cosy retreat without breaking the bank.

The chicken tikka was really good. But the portion for the price felt a bit small, especially the keema naan. It was tasty, just wish there was more of it for what I paid.

The menu's huge, which is nice. We had the fish cake and carbonara. Portions were decent for the price, honestly. I didn't leave hungry, and the bill wasn't a shock.

They brought out a little extra something for a birthday, which was a nice touch. The vegan menu is really well thought out.

Service was pretty good overall. Staff were friendly and attentive, checked about any dietary needs which I appreciated. Just a bit slow to clear plates between courses, but otherwise fine.

The lamb kofta had a really nice smoky flavour. The portion was generous for a market lunch spot. I liked the high tables by the window, good for people-watching without feeling too exposed.

Found it for lunch. They seated us at the bar when it was busy, which worked. The extra bread was appreciated.

Been coming here for years, and the harbour view from the window tables never gets old. That's the main reason I keep booking.

Came for the lunch deal and it really is good value. The grilled salmon was spot on, fresh and cooked just right. A solid choice for a quick, tasty bite.

The lasagne was really fresh, and the ingredients tasted high-quality. A solid choice for a healthy-ish meal.

Nice spot, great location. The food was decent pub grub, nothing too fancy but it hit the spot.

Lively spot, perfect for a relaxed evening with friends. The wine and small plates vibe is just right.

The garlic naan was so fresh and fluffy, you could tell it was made just before serving. The curry itself was lovely, with really tender chicken and a nice depth of flavour. A good portion of basmati rice on the side made it a satisfying meal.

The Schmokie burger was spot on - messy and smoky, just how a smash burger should be. Those parmesan tots with the black garlic mayo were a real find.

Solid spot for a quick lunch. Lasagna was good, came out fast. Polo marsala was decent too. Nothing fancy, but it gets the job done when you're in a hurry.

The butter chicken was really good, and the lamb rara gosht too. Food arrived quickly which I always appreciate. Our server was lovely, gave some helpful suggestions without being overbearing. A comfortable, easy meal.

First time in, and it's a proper local pub. The beer selection is spot on – loads of local craft stuff you don't see everywhere. Had a couple pints in the garden, which gets the sun nicely. Dog was made welcome too. 👍
