The service at Canon was exceptional, especially from Oliver and Will, who were attentive to our needs and made sure we felt comfortable with our allergies.

The gelato was really smooth and creamy, just like you'd get in Italy. The chocolate sorbetto was a nice surprise, quite rich. A bit on the pricey side, but it's a decent treat.

The mushroom masala was the standout. The mushrooms had a surprisingly meaty texture that held up well, and the heat from the spices was just right—warming, not overwhelming. The popadoms came pre-broken into ideal pieces for the chutneys. A solid choice for the vegetarian options.

Julie and Alun were super helpful with my gluten-free options. Quick to suggest a few things, sorted me out fast. Made the whole lunch break easy.

Stopped by quite late, around 10pm. They were still open and very welcoming, which was a relief. It's nice to find a spot that's so accommodating with their hours and service.

Used the upstairs space for a team dinner. Pre-ordered menu was executed well, service was prompt and handled everything. A solid, hassle-free option for a business function.

The wine tasting with Lewis was the best part. He’s such a good host, really knows his stuff and makes it fun. Learned a lot without it feeling like a lecture.

The coffee's the main draw here. They use proper Italian beans, gives it a distinct, slightly nutty flavour. That's what I come for. The place is fine, but honestly, I'm just here for the cup.

Great pub, lovely garden. The homemade pizza was a nice surprise and paired well with a crisp lager. Staff were friendly too.

Generous portions, and the staff were really friendly.

Been coming here for years. Staff know their stuff, and they're friendly without hovering. Feels like a proper local spot.

The fish and chips are great, but the portion size for the price felt a bit small.

Been coming here for years. The sauces are always spot on, and you can really taste the quality in the ingredients. It's just good, honest food. Staff know their stuff, which is nice.

Booked ahead and glad we did, it's a cosy spot that fills up quickly. The staff were really friendly and made sure we were comfortable throughout. A nice, relaxed meal without any fuss.

Nice spot in the park for a quiet drink. Sat by the flowers, looking over the gardens. Perfect for a sunny evening.

The steak sandwich was cooked just right, good value for the price. Came here for a quick business lunch, service was efficient. It's a solid option if you're in the area and need something straightforward.

Delivery was super quick, food still piping hot. Portions are generous, and everything's clearly labelled in the box. Packaging's neat too.

Popped in for happy hour and the honey halloumi was a real find. Perfectly crispy outside, still soft inside, and that sweet-salty combo just worked. The space felt cosy for a quick stop. My Flirt cocktail was a bit too sweet for me, but that halloumi made up for it.

Busy spot but the service was quick and friendly. Sat outside, good vibe. Had the grilled fish, decent portion. Could hear the street noise but that's fine.

Had the fillet again last night. Cooked just right, so tender you barely need a knife. Flavour's always spot on here. A bit pricey, but you get what you pay for.

Had a solo dinner here. The table staff were outstanding, really made me feel welcome. Food was lovely, especially the lamb shank. A bit on the pricier side, but a solid meal.

The staff were really helpful. They hollowed out my sub roll without me even asking, and toasted the peppers and onions just right. Made a big difference to the texture.

The afternoon tea was a solid choice. Scones were warm, clotted cream generous. Our server was lovely, no fuss about swapping out a couple of sandwiches. Good value for what you get.

Good spot for exploring the Cotswolds. The building is the oldest inn in England, well-maintained. Food was decent, service efficient. A solid choice for a business lunch.

A lovely spot just off the square. The staff were so friendly and attentive, which made for a really relaxed lunch. The local ingredients were a nice touch.

Decent Indian spot nearby. The jeera rice had a nice aroma, and the naan was fresh from the tandoor. Poppadoms were crisp. Gets packed even on a Tuesday, so be ready for a bit of a wait. Drinks are fairly priced.

Had the grilled octopus again since the new owners came in. It’s just as good as last time—super fresh and tender, with that perfect char. Really glad they’ve kept the quality up.

The lighting's a bit bright for a romantic dinner, but honestly, it's perfect for a casual catch-up with friends. We had a great time sharing pizzas and pasta, and the lively buzz made it feel really social.

Lovely relaxed spot for a family lunch. I really appreciated the focus on fresh ingredients in their salads. The greens were crisp and the roasted vegetables had a nice flavour. Portions were decent. A solid choice for a healthier pub meal.

Nice to have a quieter table on a busy Saturday. The grilled octopus starter was decent, but the real star was the sommelier's wine suggestion. It paired beautifully with the dish, really lifted the whole thing. A bit pricey for the portion, but that pairing made it worthwhile.
