The staff here are so lovely. They remembered my name from last time and asked how my week was going. Felt genuinely looked after, not just served.

Been coming here for years whenever I'm in town. Had the full English breakfast this morning - proper sausages, eggs done just right. Popped back in the afternoon for a pint. Staff are always dead sound.

The Sunday roast was spot on, and the staff were so lovely. Will definitely be back for that!

The staff are genuinely lovely. They accidentally gave me the wrong matcha but sorted it out so quickly and kindly. It felt like a proper neighbourhood spot, not just a cafe.

The steak and kidney pie was spot on, really good homemade stuff. Ended up having a proper chat with a friendly local bloke about Dover Castle.

Coffee's always good, food's tasty. The owner is super cheerful and always up for a chat, which is nice. But for the price, the portions are a bit on the small side.

The coffee and cake were lovely, and I really liked their local jams. The service was friendly and not rushed, which made for a very relaxed visit. A nice spot for a quiet afternoon.

Stumbled upon this place during a work trip. The car park right across is a lifesaver! Had a quick breakfast here with a colleague - the food was just what we needed to kick off a busy day. Good for a casual catch-up before heading to meetings.

Been here a few times for their afternoon tea. They remembered I can't have dairy, brought oat milk without me asking. Even had a little biscuit for the dog. That's the sort of thing that keeps me coming back.

Quiz night here was a fun idea. The food was really good and the menu had plenty of choice. Prices felt fair for what you got. Only thing was it got quite warm inside, the aircon seemed to be off.

Pass by many times but this time I have decided to give it a try and do my usual coffee break here. The space is alright, the service was okay and the coffee was good. The atmosphere was not the best but the location compensate. I will come back for another coffee breaks.

The steak pie was pretty good, especially the flaky puff pastry lid. We enjoyed it enough to return for lunch the next day.

A proper cuppa with a slice of their homemade lemon drizzle cake. The owner mentioned it's her grandmother's recipe. That kind of personal touch, paired with a decent tea selection, makes for a very relaxed afternoon. The cake was spot on, not too sweet.

Been coming here for ages. The food is always fresh and hot, straight from the kitchen. It’s that simple, consistent quality that keeps me coming back. A lovely little spot.

The Rise and Shine breakfast set is a solid choice. Comes with tea or coffee, good value. Eggs and bacon were cooked just right, not greasy at all. I go for this most mornings.

The fish and chips are cooked to order, so there's always a short wait. Worth it though – the batter is really light and crispy, and the fish is fresh. A solid choice for a quick bite.

They really love dogs here. Our pup got a bowl of water and a treat without us even asking. Staff were super chill about it. Made our quick lunch feel a bit nicer.

The coconut tart was lovely and light. The ham & cheese croissant was perfectly warm and buttery.

Perfect for a pre-theatre dinner. Right across from the venue, and they got us fed and out the door in no time. Food was tasty, no complaints.

A nice spot for a coffee break after exploring the castle. The seats were comfortable and the service was friendly, which was a welcome relief. The price felt fair for the location. It was just what I needed to sit and recharge for a bit.

Stopped by for a coffee break on a cold but sunny day and it was very nice. I probably would not come back for coffee but in a sunny warm day I would return for a refreshing drink.

The staff were so polite and attentive, which made the whole meal feel really comfortable. A nice, relaxed spot for a proper sit-down lunch.

Stopped in after getting off the ferry. The sandwiches here are massive, really generous portions. Coffee was solid. A proper, no-fuss family-run spot.

The staff were so warm and genuine. It’s the kind of place that makes you feel welcome the moment you walk in. I wish it wasn’t such a trek from my flat, honestly.

A really nice spot for anyone with dietary restrictions. The menu has plenty of options, and I tried the vegan banana loaf cake—it was lovely. The family-run atmosphere makes it feel very welcoming and relaxed.

The big breakfast was a solid choice. Everything tasted fresh and properly cooked, the sausages had good flavour. That toast was seriously thick, a real gut-buster. Couldn't finish it all, but no complaints.

That sausage and halloumi baguette is a must-order, the sausage was so tender. The place itself has this great, laid-back vibe with big windows and comfy wooden chairs. Just a really nice spot to sit and enjoy a meal.

A proper, hearty steak and kidney pie. Exactly what you want on a rainy afternoon. The place has a nice, cosy feel to it. They roast their own beans too, so the coffee is a real treat.

Stopped in after seeing the bakery window. The staff were quite friendly, and I appreciated the decent gluten-free selection. Prices felt fair, especially compared to some of the chains nearby. The bread was fine, though a little dry.
