We stumbled upon Brasserie St.Georges in Interlaken, and boy, are we glad we did! We'd originally made reservations at a traditional Swiss place across the street, but honestly, we couldn't face another meal of fondue and potatoes. This place turned out to be exactly what we needed.Located in one of the nicest hotels in the area, Brasserie St.Georges offers a mix of Italian, French, and Swiss food. The restaurant itself has a great vibe - fancy enough for a nice dinner out, but still comfortable for a family meal.I went for the burger, and it was spot-on. Thick, juicy, and cooked just right - exactly what I was craving. My wife tried the Chicken Cordon Bleu, which was a hit. Instead of the usual ham, it had beef inside along with the melted cheese, all wrapped up in crispy breading. A nice twist on a classic. The real winner for us was the kids' menu. Our daughter got the chicken tenders and loved them. It's not always easy to find good options for kids in Interlaken, so this was a big plus. What really stood out was the service. In a country known for good hospitality, these folks still managed to impress us. They were attentive without being overbearing, and seemed genuinely happy to help. The hotel that houses the restaurant is pretty impressive too - it's one of those beautiful, historic buildings you see all over Switzerland. It definitely added to the overall experience. If you're in Interlaken and looking for a break from traditional Swiss fare, or just want a really good meal, Brasserie St.Georges is the place to go. It ended up being one of the highlights of our trip, food-wise. We'll definitely be back next time we're in town.

Great gin list and the Gin Basil Smash was spot on. Nice spot to unwind after work, though it got a bit loud later.

Beautiful view of the lake from our table. Had the fresh fish, nicely plated and cooked just right. Service kept up even with the place full. Solid spot for a relaxed lunch.

The Alpermagronen came out bubbling hot in that little edelweiss pot. Chunky apple mousse on the side was a nice touch. Cozy spot, they even had sheepskin blankets on the chairs. Felt like a proper mountain hut kinda vibe. Maybe a bit touristy but I didn't really mind. Solid stop after a day out.

The steak was cooked medium just right, really juicy and full of flavor. I’m picky about meat quality and this didn’t disappoint. They have a big wine list, 170+ I think. I only tried one glass but it paired nicely. Service was attentive without hovering. Maybe a bit pricey but for the quality, fair enough.

High quality Thai food, especially best Tom yum soup ever tried. Very nice atmosphere and personnel. It is worth visiting even if you only pass by Avenches

The lasagna had that crispy edge thing going on, which I loved. Looked really good when it arrived too. Solid choice if you're in Bern and want something comforting. My friends and I shared a few starters first, so we were pretty full after. Maybe not the cheapest spot but the food did the job. 😊

Stopped by on a busy Tuesday night. Staff was friendly, got us seated fast. They had an English menu, which saved me. Didn’t feel rushed at all, even though it was packed. Solid spot for a quick bite near the station. 👍

The ricotta ravioli with lemon zest was fresh and really tasty. Service was friendly too, helped me pick a good beer to go with it.

The terrace view is lovely, and the mother-daughter team running the place were really warm. Solid spot for a relaxed meal.

The old factory vibe is cool, but the food actually holds up too. Homemade iced tea was a nice touch. Service kept it easy.

The rooftop view at sunset is unreal. Coffee and dessert were solid, prices fair too. Decor's simple but honestly the panorama does all the work.

The entrecote with Café de Paris butter was spot on—really tender. Thai prawns were decent too. Price felt fair for what you get.

Right at the station with that lake view, can't beat it. The salad was fresh and the veggies tasted properly sourced. Ordering felt a bit messy though, and they wanted extra for sauce.

Pizza was decent, nothing crazy. But that view of Lake Thun... yeah, that's the whole reason to come. Service felt a bit rushed, like they wanted the table back. Fine for a casual stop, just don't expect to linger.

Came for lunch and tried the Cordon Bleu — the cheese was properly runny inside, not dry at all. Also had a bit of fondue on the side, which hit the spot on a chilly day. Staff even brought out a small candle for the birthday without us asking. Nice touch.

We grabbed a table for four and went straight for the raclette. They scrape it right at your table onto the potatoes with pickles and onions, which is exactly what I wanted. Cheese was really good, and the little salad bar was a nice extra. Place got a bit loud later, but honestly we were too busy eating to care 😄

The terrace is really lovely at night—we sat outside and it felt super relaxed. I had the truffle pasta and honestly, it was the highlight. Rich but not too heavy. Service was friendly and quick, even though the place was busy. Maybe a bit pricey for what you get, but I’d still come back for that pasta.

I was impressed by the beautiful modern design of the restaurant and cafe. It creates a lovely atmosphere for enjoying meals.

Great spot right by the station, super easy to grab a bite before meeting friends. I had the tartare with avocado wasabi—such a fun twist. Took me a sec to find it though, the entrance is a bit hidden 😅

The shaded garden really saved the afternoon—cool and quiet even with the lunch crowd. Ordered off the regular menu, no problem. Food came fast, maybe a little too fast, but fine. Only thing: the indoor smoking area is right there, so if you're sensitive to that, sit outside. Simple menu, decent pick.

Meat salad was way more filling than I expected. Got a seat outside with the mountain view, made the quick lunch feel worth it.

Came here twice while we were in town. Owners are super friendly, made us feel right at home. Cozy spot, nothing fancy. Food was solid, came out quick both times. That’s what I need for a lunch break. 👍

Solid lunch buffet after the cable car ride up. Warm dishes and salads, enough variety to fill up before hiking. Nothing fancy but it works. Location is the real selling point honestly.

The food was decent—well balanced without being too heavy. Liked that you could get extra at no charge. Pretty good spot overall.
