Been coming here for years now. The cheese crust is still as good as the first time I tried it. Homemade tarts change a bit depending on the season, but always solid. Place gets busy on weekends, so you might wait a bit. But that's fine. It's consistent, and that's why I keep coming back.

Service was on point—quick and friendly, no hovering. Got my food fast, which I appreciate on a lunch break. Solid spot for a quick bite.

Solid lunch spot. Got the South African scampi — pretty damn good. Apple tarte was the highlight though. Views are killer from the terrace. Wine list decent but a bit pricey. Service was fine, nothing special. Would come back for the tarte alone.

The lamb kebab plate was decent, but honestly for 28 francs I expected a bigger portion. Came out hot and fresh though, and the menu has pictures which helps if you don't know Arabic food. Waiter spoke good English too. Just wish the portion matched the price a bit more.

We walked in without a reservation and they found us a table right away. The food was solid, but honestly the room itself stood out to me — big windows, relaxed vibe, comfortable chairs. Sat a bit longer than planned just because it felt easy to be there. Nice spot after a day around Brienz.

Came here on a weekday evening and it was packed—definitely book ahead. The plating was really nice, almost too pretty to eat. Had the duck and it was cooked well, juicy but the skin could’ve been crispier. Place is small but bright, felt cozy. Service was fine, nothing special. Would come back if I’m in the area.

Came here on a sunny afternoon and grabbed a seat on the terrace. The place has that old-school Bern charm, nothing fancy but comfortable. Prices are fair for what you get—my meal didn't break the bank, which is rare around here. Portion was decent too. I'd say it's a solid pick if you're not looking to spend a fortune.

The cordon bleu was solid. Crispy breading, cheese actually oozing out. Sides were just simple veggies, nothing fancy but fresh. Came out hot and fast, which is all I really wanted on my lunch break. Place was busy but I still got my food quick. Good spot if you need a proper meal without waiting around.

Stopped by for a late lunch around 2:30pm. Kitchen was still open, which is rare around here. Got the daily special, nothing fancy but solid. Staff was chill, didn't rush me even though I was the last one. Fine if you're in Bulle and hungry off-hours.

Stopped by for lunch last week. Sandwiches were solid, bread was fresh. Service was quick, no complaints there. Sat outside, view was decent. Nothing fancy but it does the job. Might be a bit pricey for what you get, but I'd come back if I'm in the area.

The view of the Alps from the terrace is honestly the main reason to come here. Chicken nuggets and beefsteak were solid, nothing fancy, but the Rivella while watching paragliders drift by was a nice touch. Seats are a bit basic though, not the kind you want to stay in for hours. Fine for a quick stop.

Stopped by for breakfast and really liked the fresh fruit bowl. You can tell they pick things daily. Simple place, nothing fancy, but the ingredients speak for themselves. Service was friendly too. Maybe a bit slow when it got busy, but I didn't mind. Good option if you're nearby and want something light.

The bread station got me—you just grab as much as you want, which is dangerous because it’s all warm and soft. Pastries were solid too, especially the ones with almond on top. Soup was good but I wish it came in a bigger bowl. Cozy spot overall, kinda easy to lose track of time in there.

The buffet setup is smart—you pay by weight, so portion control is easy. Cakes were the highlight for me, really fresh. Coffee did the job. Hot food area closes earlier than expected, so go early if you want the warm stuff.

Cafe Fredo with caramel was exactly what I needed after walking around. Friendly staff too. Place gets a bit busy but it's fine for a quick coffee stop.

The veggies tasted like they were picked that morning—so fresh. Got the house-made sausages too, really solid. Place is small but cozy, good for catching up with friends over a relaxed dinner. Just wish they had a bit more seating, we waited like 15 mins for a table. But yeah, I'd come back for those garden veggies 🌱

Stopped in for a chai latte and stayed way longer than planned—so much tea stuff to browse. Service was friendly, decent spot to escape the busy street for a bit.

Solid spot for a post-ski stop. Had a hot chocolate and cake outside, decent portions and the pastries looked great. Service was friendly enough.
