The schnitzel with fries was solid and cheaper than most spots in Kandersteg. Salad dressing was surprisingly good. Quick bite before heading out.

The mapo tofu was the real deal—numbing, spicy, that oily mouthfeel you want. Pork mince was actually there, not just a rumor. Ate it with plain rice and that was it. Portion was decent for the price. Nothing else mattered.

Tried the smash burger here and honestly it took me right back to LA. Meat was juicy and cooked just right. Only thing is the price feels a bit steep for what you get. But the place was easy and comfortable, no hassle at all. I'd come back if I'm in the area again.

No. 16 of Must-Visit Restaurants in Interlaken

The friendly service paired with good coffee makes this spot a perfect choice for a casual outing.

Nice spot for a drink—good local and organic options. The back patio was quiet when I went, which I appreciated. Service was a bit slow, but nothing crazy.

Nice spot right by the cathedral. Got the lunch special, food was solid. Service dragged a bit since it was packed, but fine for a quick bite if you're not in a rush.

I don't know HOW this restaurant is rated 4.5 stars. Terrible service, terrible prices, terrible quality.Very poor service: old man running the restaurant was highly impatient and wife scammed us on price conversion -- tip: they only accept cash. The value is terrible. The equivalent of 60USD (50CHF) for a grease-soaked plastic container of fried rice (incredibly bland and tasteless) with a count of (5) small strips of chicken and a heart-attack-inducing greasy noodle dish, served with more salt than is in the Atlantic ocean. We tried to be hospitable and nice to the owner, but they responded with indifference, short temper, and annoyance. Insanely rude service, especially from the chef.Yeah, I understand, the prices in Switzerland are crazy expensive, but I wouldn't feed this food to my dog. Not worth $30 a dish. My tip? Don't go. Unless you want to be insulted and go to the least hospitable place in Murren.

The buffet spread at brunch is solid. Lots of fresh stuff, and the made-to-order eggs were a nice touch. Good spot for a quick bite.
