Loved that the dining room wasn't overcrowded on a Saturday night. Food was well-prepared and service friendly. Just wish the dessert portion had been a bit bigger for the price.

Solid food, well presented. Cozy spot, good light. Tables are tight though, and yeah, smoke from next table drifts over. Didn't bother me much, but if you're sensitive to it, maybe ask for a corner. Pasta was the move.

The butter chicken had that deep, smoky richness you hope for, and the naan was soft, blistered just right. I paired it with a solid Kingfisher, which cut through the cream nicely. Owner ended up driving us back to the hotel after dinner. That kind of gesture stays with you. Place is small, a bit cramped, but the hospitality makes up for it.

Tiny place, felt like a random corner of Italy. Pasta was solid, service friendly without hovering. Just wish they had a bit more space between tables.

The game tasting menu was solid, wine pairing matched well. Service friendly without being fussy. Bit pricey but the flavors came through clean.

The burger was decent but honestly a bit thin for what they charge. Mine came out dry too, which was a letdown. Staff were lovely though. The smoke from the kitchen drifting into the seating area got annoying after a while. Not sure I'd rush back, but it wasn't a bad meal either.

The buckwheat crepes are seriously good, I keep thinking about them. Place gets packed though, we waited a bit for a table. But honestly, the variety is solid and everything we tried tasted fresh. Great spot if you're hanging with friends and don't mind a little chaos 😅

Stopped in for a beer, ended up staying longer than planned. Place smells strongly of fondue, but you get used to it. Service was friendly, no rush. Good spot if you want a quiet drink without any fuss.

Great spot right on the water, easy to pull up by boat. Food's pretty basic but you're not here for that. The view does all the heavy lifting.

The entrecote with Café de Paris butter was spot on—really tender. Thai prawns were decent too. Price felt fair for what you get.

Right at the station with that lake view, can't beat it. The salad was fresh and the veggies tasted properly sourced. Ordering felt a bit messy though, and they wanted extra for sauce.

Pizza was decent, nothing crazy. But that view of Lake Thun... yeah, that's the whole reason to come. Service felt a bit rushed, like they wanted the table back. Fine for a casual stop, just don't expect to linger.

The air-dried beef here is legit. Thin slices, deep flavor, melts on the tongue. Then the truffle fondue—rich, earthy, and they actually chopped up apples to stir in, which cut through the heaviness. That little move made the whole pot work. I only cared about the food and it delivered.

Beautiful view of the lake from our table. Had the fresh fish, nicely plated and cooked just right. Service kept up even with the place full. Solid spot for a relaxed lunch.

Staff actually offered to make something off-menu when I couldn't decide. Went with their suggestion and it was solid. The view's a nice bonus too.

Stopped by for a quick dinner — bus 20 drops you basically at the door, which is handy. Got the pasta and it was properly cooked, sauce had good depth. Service was fast, maybe a little too fast, felt a bit rushed. But for a casual meal near the station, it does the job.

Been coming here for a while now. The lakeside view still gets me every time, honestly. Food’s decent, not mind-blowing, but you’re paying for the setting. Prices have crept up a bit, but I keep coming back for that view. It’s just a nice spot to sit and unwind.

The steak was cooked medium just right, really juicy and full of flavor. I’m picky about meat quality and this didn’t disappoint. They have a big wine list, 170+ I think. I only tried one glass but it paired nicely. Service was attentive without hovering. Maybe a bit pricey but for the quality, fair enough.

The chicken came with this sauce that was honestly the highlight. Steak was cooked right, fish was fine too. Didn't care much about the view or anything else. Just ate and left.

We grabbed a table for four and went straight for the raclette. They scrape it right at your table onto the potatoes with pickles and onions, which is exactly what I wanted. Cheese was really good, and the little salad bar was a nice extra. Place got a bit loud later, but honestly we were too busy eating to care 😄

The hostess remembered us from last time, which I thought was really sweet. We sat by the window, plenty of room, not rushed at all. Food was homemade, you could taste the garden freshness in the vegetables. Just a nice, easy place to have a meal. Maybe slightly slow between courses, but honestly, it gave us time to relax.

Bigger inside than it looks. Multiple floors, even a kids' play corner. Lunch service was quick, which surprised me since it was packed. Had the Swiss-themed classic burger. Solid, nothing crazy but decent. Fine if you're in the area and want something easy.

The terrace is really lovely at night—we sat outside and it felt super relaxed. I had the truffle pasta and honestly, it was the highlight. Rich but not too heavy. Service was friendly and quick, even though the place was busy. Maybe a bit pricey for what you get, but I’d still come back for that pasta.

The prices run a bit higher than other spots around here, plus they add a small charge for extra plates. Caught me off guard, honestly. But the ingredients tasted really fresh, and the vegetables were cooked just right. I left feeling satisfied, not overly full. For that quality, I can accept the cost. Just wish they'd mention the plate fee upfront.

High quality Thai food, especially best Tom yum soup ever tried. Very nice atmosphere and personnel. It is worth visiting even if you only pass by Avenches

I was impressed by the beautiful modern design of the restaurant and cafe. It creates a lovely atmosphere for enjoying meals.
