Nice spot with a good amount of seating, both inside and on the terrace. Pastries looked fresh, and the staff were friendly. I grabbed a coffee and a glass of their house red—the wine was decent, nothing fancy, but it paired well with a croissant. Service was a bit slow, but I wasn't in a hurry.

Decent three-course dinner with aperitifs, came to under CHF 130 for three. Terrace view of Lake Maggiore is the real draw. Food was fine, nothing groundbreaking, but fair for the price.

The omelette came out fluffy, not overcooked. French toast had that nice golden crisp on the outside, soft inside. Honestly, that's all I need for breakfast. The area's a bit rough around the edges, but the food holds up. I'd stop by again if I'm in the neighborhood. Just don't expect fancy vibes.

Been coming here for a while now. Still love that most of the veggies come straight from their own garden. Vanda and Marco always remember us, which is nice.

The pastries were still warm when I walked in, and the hot chocolate is properly thick. Solid for a quick stop, nothing fancy.

The cakes here are seriously good, my go-to for a pastry and coffee in Locarno. Sat outside with a view towards the lake and promenade gardens, perfect for a catch-up with a friend. Staff were friendly too. Just wish they had a bit more shade, got a little warm sitting out there. 😅

Stopped by for a late lunch and grabbed their set menu. Food was solid, nothing fancy, but the service kept things moving. Had a glass of the local red with my main — paired better than I expected for the price point. Place was quiet enough to actually talk. Fair deal overall.

The lemonade here is what got me. Tart, not too sweet, actually tastes like real lemons. Brownie was dense and fudgy, the way I like it. Didn't try the brunch but the cake selection looked solid. Place is tucked away in the old town, easy to miss. Fine by me, less crowd. Coffee was decent too, but that lemonade is the reason I'd come back.

The chalkboard menu outside made it easy to decide, even with my limited German. I just pointed at what I wanted. Coffee was solid, and the ice cream was pretty good too. Nothing fancy, but a decent spot for a quick break. Prices felt fair for the area.

Stopped by for lunch, sat by the pool with the hills right there. Pretty chill spot. Got the grilled fish, it was decent, maybe slightly overcooked. Service was friendly enough, didn't rush me. Fine for a lazy afternoon if you're in the area.

Been coming here for a while now, and the seasonal menu keeps me hooked. Had the spring special last week, still thinking about it. Place gets packed quick, so I always book ahead. Service is fine, nothing over the top, but they remember you. That's why I keep going back.

Came here for a drink around sunset. View over the lake and Brissago islands is really something. Service was friendly, no complaints. Prices are what you'd expect for the location. Good spot if you're in the area and want to sit by the water for a bit.

The panini was decent—grilled well, cheese melted through. Vegetarian one had good flavor too, not just boring greens. Ate it fast because I was hungry, didn't regret it. Fine spot to grab something quick before the boat. Nothing fancy, but the food does the job.

The terrace got the evening light just right. Pizza was solid, around 22 CHF which isn’t cheap, but the crust had that proper char. Had it with a German beer, pretty relaxed vibe. Service was fine, nothing to complain about. Maybe slightly overpriced for what it is, but I’d sit outside again.

Stopped by for a quick lunch and grabbed their lunch special. Food was solid for the price, nothing fancy but decent. Service stayed friendly even when the place filled up. Probably not a destination spot, but fine if you're in the area and hungry.

Been coming here for years. Lunch menu changes daily, always solid. Chef does some interesting combos you don't see everywhere. Service was fine, nothing to complain about.

Service was spot on—friendly without hovering. Portions felt fair for the price, honestly. Place was busy but we never waited long. Solid pick if you're in the area.

A very pleasant surprise for Sunday lunch in a small Ticino village. Imaginative menu, including some traditional items, and the baccalà was delicious. Friendly ambience too.

The staff were really friendly and the seats were comfortable enough to just relax. Had a caffelatte and a panini, both were solid. Nice spot if you want an easy, low-key lunch.
