Came here with a couple of friends after hearing good things. The seafood chowder is seriously loaded&mdash;fish, mussels, the lot. Rich and creamy, exactly what you want on a cold day. Portion was decent too. Place got pretty busy by the time we left, but we managed to grab a table easy enough. Would happily go back for that chowder again 😊

I paired it with a glass of Sancerre and that combo alone made the night. Service was attentive without hovering. Place was a bit loud by 8pm, but I&rsquo;d still go back for that bisque.

The chocolate whiskey scoop is the one. Rich without being heavy, and that sea salt on top just cuts through it. Tried a sample before committing, which was handy. Went back three days in a row for it. The other flavours are fine but that combo is the reason to go.

Stayed overnight in the car park with the campervan and the staff were dead sound about it. Even stuck the rugby on the telly for us. Fair play to them.
