The savory crepes really surprised me—fluffy dough and they don’t skimp on the filling. Portion was solid, easily a full meal. I just walked in without expectations and left pretty happy. Might be a bit busy around lunch, but worth figuring out a table for.

Stopped by for a quick lunch. Got the lentil stew with Spätzle — solid, homey stuff. Hit the spot on a cold day. Local beer on tap was a nice bonus. Service was fast, no waiting around. Prices fair for what you get. Nothing fancy, but it does the job.

The Zwiebelrostbraten was spot on—proper Swabian style, even for me. Staff friendly too. Schnitzel was decent but calling it "Wiener" is a stretch.

Buffet selection is massive — seafood, meats, teppanyaki station. Easy to get your money's worth if you're hungry. Service was fine, nothing special.

The staff really made the difference here. I mentioned I don’t eat dairy and they offered to veganize a few veggie dishes without me even asking. That was so thoughtful. We came with a small group and everyone felt taken care of. Only tiny downside—it got a bit loud later in the evening. But honestly, I’d still come back with friends. 😊

Been coming here for a while now. Lunch menu is still solid and easy on the wallet. Spätzle was good again, consistent as always.

Been coming here on and off for a while now. The schnitzel with Spätzle is still my go-to—crispy, that sauce is proper good. Had the chocolate cake last time too, one of the better ones in Ulm honestly. Service is always friendly, they even grabbed me a blanket once when I sat outside. Place just stays consistent.

The schnitzel was solid. Came with potatoes that actually tasted homemade, not like they were sitting around. Place does proper German food, nothing fancy but real. I'd go back if I'm in the area again.

Went for the food, stayed for the terrace. Solid Chinese dishes, nothing fancy but tasty. Prices are fair too. Place felt welcoming, like a proper family business.

Solid steak in Ulm, no complaints. Meat was cooked properly and had good flavor. The cigar lounge upstairs is a nice touch if you're into that. Service kept it simple and friendly.

Fresh fish, simple prep, no fuss. Been around forever and you can tell they know what they're doing. Service was quick too. Solid spot for a fast lunch.

The truffle pasta was solid — rich and cooked right. Wine list worked well with it. Place was quiet when I stopped by. Chef came out for a quick chat, which was a nice touch.

The location really is the selling point—right on the water, facing the crooked house. I just sat by the window with a coffee and watched people take photos of it. Staff were friendly enough. Chairs could be more comfortable for lounging, but for a quick break it does the job.

An absolute insider tip in Ulm! Spresso Coffee is the perfect place for anyone who appreciates really good coffee.

The sushi here is solid, nothing fancy but fresh enough. Prices are fair for the portion you get, which honestly matters more to me than decor. Staff were friendly too. I'd come back if I'm in the area and want a no-fuss meal.

The pork knuckle was the real deal. Crispy skin, tender inside, and the gravy actually had flavor. Had it with a dark beer, that worked well. Portion was big, could barely finish. Maybe a bit heavy on the salt, but I'd take that over bland any day.

The steak came out exactly how I asked — medium rare, juicy, no complaints. Meat quality is seriously good here. Service was friendly too, not pushy. Just wish the sides were a bit bigger for the price. Nice spot if you're craving a proper steak dinner.

The staff were friendly and the lamb chops came out perfectly cooked. Steak was solid too. Service was quick even though the place was busy.
