The banana flavor is really strong, I liked that. Portion size matches the price, so no complaints there. Place was a bit cramped though, not much room between tables. Fine for a quick bite, just don't expect to sit and relax for hours. I'd come back if I'm in the area and craving something sweet.

Great carbonara and a nice terrace view. Service was quick enough for a lunch break.

The veggie burger was properly seasoned, not dry at all. My wife's beef one looked just as good. Prices are fair for what you get.

Maria really knows how to take care of you, and her Italian cooking is solid. The outdoor seating area is nicely done, perfect for a relaxed evening. I had a glass of their house red with the pasta—good match, nothing fancy but it worked. Service was a bit slow, but the vibe made up for it.

The food was solid again, and the staff didn't rush us at all. Sat outside in the beer garden, which made the whole thing feel a bit more relaxed. Just a nice spot to linger over a drink.

Food’s consistently good and portions are solid. Service is friendly but gets slow when it’s packed—took a while for our drinks to come. Still, I’d go back for the schnitzel.

Solid Franconian food, generous portions. Had the sauerkraut, definitely homemade, not the usual jar stuff. Prices are fair for what you get. Place was busy, typical local vibe. Service was efficient, no complaints. If you're in the area and want straightforward, honest cooking, this works. Just don't expect anything fancy.

Lovely spot right on the river. Sat outside, watched the water while eating. Vegetarian options were actually decent, not just a sad afterthought. Service was a bit slow but I wasn't in a hurry. Would come back for the setting alone. 🌿

Stopped by for lunch on a work trip. Got the Schäufele—juicy, cooked right. The gingerbread sauce on the sauerbraten was generous, not too sweet. Place has a proper rustic feel, service was quick even when it got busy. Prices fair for the portion. Solid choice if you're in the area and want something hearty.

The lunch special is a solid deal for what you get. Gyoza were the standout — crispy, juicy, really well done. Ramen was okay, nothing to write home about, but for the price I can't complain. Place was busy around noon but service kept up fine. Would come back for those dumplings.

The tapas were hit or miss—some tasted fresh, others felt like they came out of a microwave. Cocktails saved the night though. Service was quick but the place got loud fast.

Been here a few times now, always with a bigger group. They bring out a proper spread—appetizers, salads, fish, meat. Plenty for everyone, no one leaves hungry. Quality's been consistent each visit, which is why I keep coming back. Just wish they'd clear the plates a bit faster, but that's a minor thing.

Loved the historic, cozy interior — really felt like another era. Staff were friendly but not hovering. Just wish the music had been a bit quieter.

The schnitzel was solid and the staff actually seemed happy we were there. Cozy little place in Bamberg, glad we stumbled in.

The meatloaf with dumplings was really good—fresh ingredients, nicely seasoned. One of the better meals I've had around here lately.

Food was solid and the view made the walk up totally worth it. Staff left us alone until we needed them, which I appreciated.

Portions were solid for the price, especially right in the old town. Didn't feel ripped off, which is rare around there.

Came in hungry, left completely stuffed. Portions are huge, no joke. The service was the best part though—staff were super cheerful, made the whole place feel lively. Food was solid, flavors on point. Not fancy, but you don't need that here. Just good food and good vibes.

Decent spot, though expect a wait. The courtyard is lovely on a nice day. Probably worth booking ahead for weekends.

The pizza and garlic bread were solid, and the place has that cozy vibe with fresh flowers on the tables. Service was quick too. Would've loved a better wine list to match the food, though.

Food stays consistent every time I swing by. Waiter was friendly too, made the whole thing easy. Solid spot if you're in the area.

The pork knuckle was the standout — crispy skin, tender inside, proper German style. The beer was cold and went down easy. Prices are fair for what you get. It's up the hill, so you earn your meal a bit, but that's fine. Simple food done right.

We stopped by for a late lunch and grabbed a table near the window. The staff was really friendly, took time to explain the menu. I had the schnitzel, it was decent, cooked well. Prices are okay for the portion. Only small thing, the chairs are a bit hard, got uncomfortable after a while. But overall a pleasant spot.

Pizza was decent, toppings fresh enough. Crust a bit too thick for me, but it did the job. Fine for a quick bite around here.

Small wedding here went smoothly. Food was solid, staff handled everything without us asking. They even let us take the flowers home. Nice touch.

Service was decent - friendly enough, not overly attentive but fine. Had the grilled fish which was pretty good, fresh and cooked well. Prices are a bit steep for what you get though. Place was busy on a Tuesday evening, so maybe that's the norm here. Wouldn't go out of my way, but if you're in the area it's okay.

The tiramisu was really good. Like, properly good. I'm not usually a dessert person but this one hit the spot. Cappuccino came out a bit bitter though, had to add sugar. Still, that dessert made the whole stop worth it.

The inner garden caught me off guard — so quiet and calm for a central spot. Food was solid, prices fair for what you get. Nice find.

We stopped by for a relaxed dinner and I really liked the fish — fresh, simply done, no fuss. The wine list had a few nice options too. Sitting outside is a bit close to the road, so not the quietest spot, but fine if you're not sensitive to noise. Service was friendly when they were nearby, though I waited a while for a refill after the shift change. Decent enough for a casual evening.
