The ribs and Swiss mac & cheese hit the spot after a long hike. View from the terrace is unreal. Service was friendly enough, though we waited a bit for the bill. Solid stop if you're up that way.

Lunch stop before the Glacier Express. Staff handled our big group pretty well, no chaos. Food was solid, nothing fancy but hit the spot. Quick enough that we made the train without stressing. 👍

The venison in autumn was cooked just right, and the lake fish tasted properly fresh. Service stayed friendly without hovering. Their wine pairing matched the game nicely—a red with enough body to hold up. Place was a bit quiet for a Saturday, but that worked in our favor. Solid local cooking, nothing flashy.

The staff were genuinely friendly and the whole place ran smoothly, which I appreciated. Food was a step above typical mountain fare—seasonal, regional, and thoughtfully prepared. Wines paired nicely too. Only thing was the seating felt a bit cramped, but it didn't ruin the meal. Solid choice if you're in the area.

Bread and pre-made sandwiches are solid. Staff was friendly enough. Got the cafe crema, kinda meh. Pastries are the real deal though. Place gets packed, so you'll wait a bit. Worth it for the baked stuff.

The pike perch was the standout — perfectly cooked, flaky, with a butter sauce that actually tasted like something. Came by boat from Luzern and walked up from Treib, which probably made me hungrier than usual. Portion was decent for the price. Busy spot though, so book ahead if you want a table.

Loved the location right in the Old Town. Such a convenient spot. We walked from the station with our bags, no hassle at all. Easy to pop out for a stroll after dinner too. Perfect for exploring.

Quick kebab before our train was pretty good and fresh. It's takeout, so we ate at a bench outside. Just check your order before you go.

Alex and Alieksa are just fantastic. Their service has this warm, funny vibe that really makes the evening. They were so sweet with our little one, and even gave our pup some attention.

Stopped by for dinner last week—upstairs room is pretty cozy, good for a quiet catch-up. Cocktails were solid, well mixed. Food looked great on the plate, and the flavors held up too. Mains run a bit high, but you can tell where the money goes. Maybe not an everyday spot, but fine for a treat.

The terrace sits right on the lake — that’s the whole reason to come. Warm evening, water right there, it just works. Food was fine, nothing crazy, but honestly the view carried it. Slightly pricey for what you get, but you’re paying for the setting. I’d go back for a drink at sunset.

We walked in not expecting much from the outside, but the inside is actually pretty cozy. We sat in the wine cellar area, which felt a bit fancy with the candles. The surprise menu was fun, and the service was really attentive. Only thing is it took a while between courses, but I didn't mind much.

Nice vibe, and the food hit the spot. I went with a red that paired surprisingly well with the pasta—nothing fancy, just a solid pour. Sara, Liana, and Eli took care of us without hovering. Maybe a touch slow on the refills, but honestly didn’t care. Would sit at that table again.

Lovely little place with beautiful wooden interior. The staff were genuinely friendly. Bit of a hike from town but the food made it worth it.

Been coming here for a while now, and the spaghetti aglio e peperoncino is still my go-to. Simple, but the seasoning is always on point. Place was packed last time, yet the service didn't drop. Prices are fair for the area too. Just wish they'd open a second location closer to my side of town.

We stayed at the hotel and ate here four times. Everything was tasty, even the veggie options. Pizza was solid too. Service stayed friendly the whole time, which I appreciated.

The salad bowls here are genuinely fresh—greens still crisp, not that sad wilted stuff you get at most fast-casual spots. I like that they offer a few interesting add-ons too. Back seating area is a nice quiet escape from the lunch rush. Just expect a bit of a wait around noon. Worth it if you have time.

Solid business lunch spot. Steak was cooked exactly as asked, wine list had some good options. Service sharp without hovering. Pricey though — you pay for the setting. Fine if someone else is footing the bill.

Stopped by for a quick drink before a match. Scottish bartender knew his stuff, pointed me to a solid local beer. Handy spot right near the station.

The kids’ buffet here is a smart idea—simple stuff they’ll actually eat, and they even have proper little cutlery. We sat by the window, the view’s decent. Staff were friendly enough. Food’s not fancy, but for a family lunch it does the job. Just don’t expect anything more than that.

Stopped by for lunch near the chapel bridge—spot’s super convenient. Food was solid, nothing crazy. Had the schnitzel, crispy enough, though the salad on the side was a bit sad. Staff mostly friendly, but one dude with a man bun seemed like he didn’t wanna be there. Still, others picked up the slack. Fine for a quick bite if you’re in the area.

The staff actually took time to explain the menu without rushing us. Food arrived quick and steaming, portions were solid for the price. That warm lighting near the window made it feel cozier than expected. Nice little break before continuing the day.

The pizzas were excellent and a doggy bag was provided for the left overs. I would love to have ordered desert and coffee. However, the waitress was so involved in a conversation with some other customers and the went inside and wasn't seen again. We decided to go and paid at the counter! The music was also very loud outside.

Stopped by for a quick dinner and the cordon bleu was solid. Rösti hit the spot too. Place has that cozy local vibe, easy to just hang out with friends for a bit. Service was chill, not hovering over us.

Good breakfast spread - croissants were fresh, and they even had rice and curry. Coffee machine with creamy milk hit the spot. Solid quick morning stop.

The seafood soup was the star—rich, fresh, and honestly a decent portion for the price. I’ve paid way more at fancier spots for less. Service was fine, not hovering, which I liked. Only thing is the place gets a bit loud when it fills up. But for what you get, I’d say it’s fair.

Cozy spot with a friendly vibe. They swapped tofu in for me without any fuss, which I appreciated. Nice to find a place that actually adapts dishes for vegetarians.
