The ribs and Swiss mac & cheese hit the spot after a long hike. View from the terrace is unreal. Service was friendly enough, though we waited a bit for the bill. Solid stop if you're up that way.

Lunch stop before the Glacier Express. Staff handled our big group pretty well, no chaos. Food was solid, nothing fancy but hit the spot. Quick enough that we made the train without stressing. 👍

The braised beef cheek was the standout. Fork-tender, deep flavor, sauce that actually tasted like it had been reduced for hours. Got the prix fixe, worth every franc. Didn't need the fancy extras or the champagne toast to enjoy it. Just the food alone would bring me back.

The venison in autumn was cooked just right, and the lake fish tasted properly fresh. Service stayed friendly without hovering. Their wine pairing matched the game nicely—a red with enough body to hold up. Place was a bit quiet for a Saturday, but that worked in our favor. Solid local cooking, nothing flashy.

The pulled pork burger was a winner — juicy and messy in the best way. Staff spoke English which made things easy. Casual spot for a drink and a bite.

For what it sets out to do, Spun delivers perfectly. Great produce well prepared. Absolutely no unnecessary additives!

The food was solid—my lamb tagine came out tender and full of flavor. Portion size was generous too. Didn't care much about the lounge or the owners, but the kitchen does the job right.

Great spot for skiers - literally steps from the Gurschenbahn lift. Rooms were clean and simple, owners genuinely friendly. Didn't try the breakfast but the location alone makes it worth it for a ski trip.

The staff were genuinely friendly and the whole place ran smoothly, which I appreciated. Food was a step above typical mountain fare—seasonal, regional, and thoughtfully prepared. Wines paired nicely too. Only thing was the seating felt a bit cramped, but it didn't ruin the meal. Solid choice if you're in the area.

The pike perch was the standout — perfectly cooked, flaky, with a butter sauce that actually tasted like something. Came by boat from Luzern and walked up from Treib, which probably made me hungrier than usual. Portion was decent for the price. Busy spot though, so book ahead if you want a table.

The hot stone filet and rosti are still as good as the first time. Owner remembered us on our third visit.

The fondue here was properly done—creamy, not too heavy, and the bread held up well for dipping. I liked that they didn’t rush us, even when it got busy. The room has that old Swiss feel, wooden walls and all. Just wish they had a few more veggie sides on the menu. Still, a solid spot for a simple meal in Andermatt.

The pasta was really good, and the service was friendly. Solid spot if you want a simple, satisfying meal without any fuss.

Loved the location right in the Old Town. Such a convenient spot. We walked from the station with our bags, no hassle at all. Easy to pop out for a stroll after dinner too. Perfect for exploring.

The patio view is stunning. The tartare paired nicely with their house white, though service was a bit slow that evening.

Been coming here for years, and the view from the terrace is why. Always that same postcard look over the lake. Sure, the bill adds up, but you're paying for that backdrop with your meal. It's just consistently there.

Tried the new chef's tasting menu. It's modern but still feels grounded. The duck course really stood out – bold flavors but not too fussy. The staff was chill and knew their stuff. You can tell they put thought into it.

Bruno remembered my name from a previous visit. Service is attentive without being overbearing. The personal touch makes a difference.

The medieval decor is pretty cool, feels like a castle. Had the white wine and herb fondue, it was quite good. Paired it with a glass of white wine, a nice match. The cheese was decent, though a bit on the rich side for me.

Quick kebab before our train was pretty good and fresh. It's takeout, so we ate at a bench outside. Just check your order before you go.

Loved the Yunnan food here! The tea pairing was a nice touch, made it feel like a proper catch-up with friends. A bit on the pricier side, but the vibe was perfect for a long chat.
