The grilled cheese with marmalade was really good, and the lamb was tender too. Portions were decent for the price. Service was friendly, though it did get a bit busy.

Stopped by for a late afternoon coffee — the flat white was solid, and I liked that the bookshop next door makes it easy to kill an hour browsing. Prices though, a bit steep for what you get. My glass of red was decent but small for the tag. Nice spot if you're not hungry and just want a quiet drink.

Tucked above the bio shop, this place has a real cozy vibe. Solid wine list to pair with the inventive plates. Bit pricey, but the meal stayed with me.

Stopped in for lunch and ordered the pork with lentils. Portion was decent for the price, not huge but fair. The artichoke starter was good too, goat cheese worked well with it. Place has that rustic family-run vibe, nothing fancy. I left full enough, so no complaints. Maybe a bit quiet for my taste, but fine for a chill meal.

The service is unhurried, which fits the relaxed vibe here. Food’s tasty and authentic, though portions run a bit small for what you pay.

House wine was surprisingly decent for the price, and the pasta portions are generous. Pizza's solid too. Nothing fancy, but you'll leave full without breaking the bank.

Decent place for a quick bite. I popped in solo on a weeknight, grabbed a seat outside. Food came out fine, nothing fancy but solid. Portion was fair for the price. Waitress was friendly enough, didn't hover. Good enough if you're in the area and don't want to cook.

Stopped by for lunch on a sunny day—grabbed a spot on the terrace. Pizza was solid, crust had a nice chew, toppings fresh. Wine list is decent and prices fair. Inside is a bit tight and gets warm, but we were fine outside. Wouldn’t mind coming back to try more. 🍕

Stumbled onto this little place in Saint-Gilles and honestly the wine list caught me off guard—really well picked. Menu’s small but changes weekly, which I love. Service was friendly, the kind that makes you wanna stay longer. Only thing is it gets a bit loud when full, but that’s kinda the vibe. Would go back for the natural wine alone 🍷

The onion soup was spot on, and the croquettes didn’t disappoint either. Service stayed friendly even when it got busy. Solid spot.

Very happy to find the restaurant, the food is delicious and fresh, the atmosphere created by staff is very friendly & positive. Definitely adding to my list of "go to places"

Pizza was solid for the price, 10 to 18 euros and cooked properly. Staff were friendly too, no complaints there. Place isn't fancy but it does the job.

Called ahead to find the place since it's a bit tucked away. Owner picked up right away, super friendly. The private tasting was the highlight—felt personal, not rushed. Food came out at a good pace, which I appreciated. Solid spot if you want something a bit different without the fuss. Just ring them first, saves you the hassle of wandering around.

The beef tartare was spot on—fresh and well-seasoned. Simple spot with a view of the old church. Service gets a bit slow when it's packed, but that's fine for a relaxed bite.

Stopped by for dinner on a weekday. Place has that family-run vibe, nothing fancy. Had the tiramisu — pretty good, not too sweet. Staff were friendly enough. Only downside was the wait, took a while to get our order in. Decent spot if you're not in a hurry.

Been coming here for a while now, and the pasta keeps me coming back. Fresh, cooked just right every single time. It’s a small place in Saint-Gilles, feels like a proper neighborhood joint. Staff remembers you, which is nice. Prices are a bit steep, but honestly, you get what you pay for. No complaints from me.

Stopped by for the first time after hearing so much about it. The eel and frog legs appetizers were the highlight for me—really tasty. Mussels were solid too. Place was busy, so booking ahead is smart. Maybe slightly touristy but I get the appeal.

Dropped in for a quick lunch. The three-course menu is decent for the price. Had the duck breast, cooked nicely. Sea bass was fine too. Bourbon vanilla mousse for dessert, pretty good. Service was quick, which I appreciate. Place has a nice vibe, not too fancy. Solid spot if you need a decent meal without wasting time.

Great food, absolutely finger licking and don’t miss their tiramisu. And very warm, attentive service so that you feel right at home. The restaurant itself needs a hit of renovation, but if you’re not bothered with basic ambience but into the food - it’s a good place.

The onion soup was decent, rich flavor. Scampi with garlic came out quick, cooked just right. Mussels were fresh too. Solid spot for a fast lunch, nothing fancy. Got in and out in under 30 minutes, which is exactly what I needed. Prices fair for the quality. Would stop by again if I'm in the area.

The €16 Belgian menu is a decent deal—appetizer, main, dessert. Waterzooi was pretty good, though the mussels and fries came off a bit bland. Fine for the price, I'd say.

The seasonal menu here is small, but the ingredients taste really fresh. I had the pasta with wild mushrooms—simple, no heavy sauce, just clean flavors. Service was attentive without hovering. Wine list is long, maybe too long if you’re indecisive like me. Place is tiny, so booking ahead is a must. Not cheap, but the quality of the produce justifies it.

Came here on a whim and honestly left pretty full. The food was tasty and the bill didn’t hurt, which is always a plus. Service was friendly too, nothing to complain about. Maybe not the most mind-blowing meal ever, but for the price, it’s a solid pick. I’d go back if I’m in the area again.

Carbonade was proper—beef fell apart, sauce had that deep beer sweetness. Mussels were fresh, cooked just right. Even the fries surprised me, crispy and not oily at all. Place was busy but we got a table quick. Solid traditional Belgian cooking, no complaints from my side.

Real Italian food. Small menu offering real flavours from Italy. When it's sunny it is a very nice option for a lunch outside

The Meli Mely is an excellent, family run restaurant. It has a good menu and each meal is tasty and terrific value for money!
