Birthday lunch spot. The clucker burger was worth the wait, honestly. Staff were so calm when a nearby table got a bit loud, handled it really well.

The renovation&#39;s nice, but the main thing is the food. The lamb shank was cooked for hours, just fell apart with a fork. The gravy was rich, not too salty. That&#39;s what I come for.

The fish and chips were spot on, really fresh and crispy. The carbonara was lovely too. I appreciated the comfortable seating, made the whole meal feel very relaxed.
