The Sunday roast was pretty good, and the pate starter was a nice addition. Decent spot for watching the harbour.

The Wolf burger with pulled duck is a solid choice. Patty was juicy, duck portion generous and flavourful. Sweet potato fries and slaw were good too. A bit pricey for a burger, but you get what you pay for.

Larisa, our server, was so thoughtful. She double-checked with the kitchen about my peanut allergy and explained their procedures clearly. It felt very safe. The kitchen was careful, and my meal came out with a separate note confirming it was allergen-free. That attention to detail meant a lot.

Came for a casual pint, ended up staying for the view. Sat on the pontoon with a cold one, just watching the boats. The crab pots were busy, looked fun. Bit windy though.

A proper cosy pub, this. The owner's a friendly chap - he was happy for us to bring in pasties from the bakery down the road. Sat outside with a pint and a pasty, just what you need.

The Mother's Day carvery was a nice touch, and the free Prosecco was appreciated. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Lovely old pub, proper Devon feel. Had the Sunday roast, beef was spot on. The real star was their house red, a surprisingly good match with the rich gravy. Staff are genuinely friendly, makes you feel like a local. A bit of a wait for the food, but worth it for that kind of atmosphere.

Jo the landlady is a gem, really knows her stuff. She explained the specials with such detail, you could tell she’s passionate about the food. Made the whole visit feel relaxed and personal. A proper local spot.

Visited the Salumi restaurant on Sunday the 30th. To celebrate two major events of that date. Firstly my 73rd birthday and my sons 11th Wedding Anniversary. The restaurant from the outside looks deceptive regarding its size. Though once inside the welcoming atmosphere and decor were totally delightful. The seating areas were spacious and the seats were very comfortable chairs. All the staff were friendly, polite, respectful and helpful and a credit to their profession. There were good varied choices on the menu. From which I chose the Sunday roast Turkey and Honey with all the trimmings and was totally delicious, and I enjoyed the brilliantly cooked food a lot. The best I have ever tasted in any restaurant. It was seriously that good. I was very impressed when the ordered food was delivered to our table, and the waiter that served us described every food item being served per plate per individual. NEVER had that done before, and it made one feel special somehow, but nice. It was a really nice additional touch to a perfect meal. The portions were generously large and well presented. The prices were more than reasonable and all 8 of us were well catered. Nothing was too much trouble for the brilliant staff at the Salumi. We all enjoyed our meals. I can't praise this restaurant or it's staff high enough. I highly recommend this restaurant ladies and Gents. Well worth a visit. The best was at the end. As being the birthday boy, I was given a FREEBI dish of sorbet ice cream and chocolate cake slice. My wife and I will definately be paying the Salumi restaurant another visit for sure.

Fish and chips were solid, good portion. The bacon chop was filling, a decent option for a quick business lunch. Service was efficient, got the bill promptly.

The full breakfast was solid, and they were flexible with substitutions. Chunky chips were a highlight. Good value for the portion size.

Popped in for a midweek lunch. The burger was spot on, really juicy. My wife's vegan curry pasty had lovely, flaky pastry. Portions were generous for the price.

The nautical theme is so charming, especially the old ship lanterns casting a warm glow. It’s a lovely, cozy spot for a burger and a pint. The staff were really friendly too.

Lovely little pub, the staff were so friendly. Had a couple of pints of their house ale, which was spot on. Shame there's no food, but still a nice spot for a drink.

Decent pub, nice vibe. The kids' meals are a decent size for the price, which is a relief these days. My little one finished his fish fingers and chips, so that's a win.

Cosy little spot, tables are always spotless. Booked a week ahead for a Friday dinner. The grilled sea bream was just right, skin crispy, flesh moist. Portion felt a bit small for the price, but the cooking was spot on.

Nice little pub, feels like a proper student spot. The beer garden out the back is a real bonus, especially on a sunny evening. They seem to have a lot of themed nights, which keeps things lively.

Really liked the relaxed feel here, and the staff were very friendly. The separate function room looks like it would be great for events.

Popped in for a late lunch. Had the steak pie, proper comfort food. The gravy was spot on. Caught the end of the football match on their screen, which was a nice surprise. Good portion for the price.

The Sunday roast was spot on, and the wine list had some really nice options to go with it. Good value for a proper carvery.

The Sunday roast is a solid choice. The beef was a good, thick cut and the gravy had a nice depth to it. Veg portions were generous, especially the roast potatoes. It does get packed, so a booking is essential.

The regulars and staff are friendly, but I'm here for the pint. It's a comfortable spot for a quiet one. The ale had a nice, balanced bitterness, not too heavy. Just right for sitting by the window and not thinking about much else.

Been coming here for years, the fish and chips are always a safe bet. Batter's light and crisp, fish is fresh and flakes nicely. Classic done right.

Loved how welcoming they were to our pup! Madeline was so sweet and even brought him a little treat.

Lovely spot upstairs for a drink. Everything's spotless, which I appreciate. The food was cooked just right and plated nicely. A solid, comfortable place.

Been coming here for years. The owners make it feel like a proper local, always a friendly welcome.

Love the spot by the river. Had the Sunday roast last weekend - the beef was so tender and the Yorkshire pudding was spot on. A proper cosy pub vibe inside, perfect for a grey day.
