The fried duck in red chili coconut sauce was solid — came out quick and tasted fresh. Service was friendly enough. Good spot if you're nearby.

We grabbed a table on Saturday night and honestly, the wine recs from our server were spot on. Place has this cool old-school charm, not too loud so we could actually chat. Only thing, it was pretty packed, so booking ahead is a smart move. Would come back for sure. 🍷

The butter chicken and biryani were really tasty. Staff was friendly and made us feel comfortable. Nice spot in Gießen, we keep coming back.

Came here for the live music and honestly the vibe was the best part. Beer was solid, staff friendly. They even have a separate smoking room which I appreciated as a non-smoker. Gets pretty packed though, so don't expect a chill quiet night. But that's kinda the charm I guess.

The schnitzel was spot on. Crispy, not greasy, and the meat stayed juicy. Portion size is generous too. Wine recommendation matched the dish well. Place gets busy, so you might want to book a table first. I'd come back just for that schnitzel.

This place has a nice blend of Greek and German cuisine. The service is fast and friendly, and the food is very tasty. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a good meal.

The coffee was solid, not gonna lie. Cake was decent too, nothing fancy but fine. Place was packed when I went, so service took a while. If you're not in a rush, it's okay. I'd probably come back for the coffee alone.

The Flammkuchen was solid, and the outdoor seating is a nice touch when it’s warm. Got a bit crowded in the evening, but we grabbed a table without waiting.

Small menu but covers German and Asian stuff. Fried noodles were legit the best I've had in ages. Service was friendly, place gets busy though.

The wine spritzer was decent, but €35 for hand cheese and two drinks? That’s a bit much. Cozy spot though, service was friendly.

Been coming here for a while now. The music is always on point, not too loud, just right for a relaxed evening. Cocktails are consistent, which I appreciate. Pricey, sure, but you pay for the vibe. Never had a bad night here, that's why I keep coming back.

Big menu, took me ages to pick. Pizza bread with tomato and garlic was solid, pasta with mussels in tomato sauce hit the spot too. Service was friendly, prices fair. Hard to complain.

Pizza came out super fast and still piping hot 🍕 exactly what you want when you're hungry. Great spot to grab a bite with friends before heading out.

The food here is solid, honestly close to what I remember from China. Portions are generous, price is fair. Only thing is the space gets a bit tight, and the noise level creeps up. But the flavors carry it.

The entrecôte was properly juicy and well-seasoned. Big space, comfortable seats — easy to just sit there for a while. Parking nearby is a bit of a pain though.

The terrace view is the real draw here. Tacos with mole were solid, though service was a bit slow. Fine spot to grab a bite and enjoy the scenery.

Stopped by for a quick lunch and ended up staying longer than planned. The place has this relaxed vibe that makes you want to hang around. Food was fresh, nothing fancy, but solid. Seats are comfortable enough to just sit and chat for a while. It does get a bit busy around noon, though.

The wine pairing really stood out — each glass matched the dishes perfectly. Food was inventive too, though the portions could be a bit bigger for the price. Still a solid pick.

Cozy place with that Indian vibe, lots of seating. Prices are a bit lower than other spots nearby. Student menu could be better though.

The meat was fresh and the bread tasted like it was actually baked that morning, not the usual rubbery stuff. You can tell the owner put some thought into the place, it doesn't feel like a standard kebab shop. Portion was decent for the price, I left full without feeling ripped off. Would go back if I'm in the area again.

Decent little pub if you're after a proper smoke and a cold beer. Atmosphere is pretty laid-back, staff were friendly enough. Nothing fancy, but it does the job. Prices are fair for what it is. I'd probably stop by again if I'm in the area.

Big portions, prices are fair. Staff didn't hover but were there when you needed them. Got the schnitzel, plate was full. Nothing fancy, just solid food. Place was busy for a Tuesday, which says something. Fine if you're hungry and don't want to overthink it.

Spare ribs were solid again. Tender, saucy, exactly what I wanted for a quick lunch. Place was busy but food came out fast enough. No complaints. Just a straightforward spot for a decent bite when you're short on time.

The dürüm doner was really tasty and the guy at the counter was super friendly. Solid spot for a quick bite.

Nice beer garden and the food hit the spot. Prices fair for what you get. Glad they've got a proper accessible toilet too. My wine was decent, though nothing fancy. Solid spot if you're in the area.
