Fantastic food, excellent service and an unique ambience - L'Oliva Nera has it all. At L'Oliva Nera you can experience what it means when people do what they love. A must-visit at Wolfsburg.

Came for dinner and the waiter totally saved us with the German menu. Schnitzel was solid, crispy and exactly what I needed. Place was busy but we never felt rushed. Only thing—I wish they had more sauce on the side. Would go back for that dish alone.

The seasonal mushroom dish really stood out — nicely cooked, not overdone. Service was quick too, no complaints there. It’s a bit expensive for what you get, but the quality makes up for it. I’d probably come back for that dish alone. Just wish the portion was slightly bigger.

Lentil soup had a real kick to it, nice start. Sampler platter was decent for trying a few things, though the chicken kebab was the best part. Solid spot for Syrian food in Braunschweig.

Stopped by for lunch while wandering Goslar’s old town. Place is tucked in a half-timbered building, easy to miss. Had the chai — properly creamy, not too sweet. Food was solid, nothing crazy but hit the spot. Staff left us alone, which I liked. Fine if you’re nearby and craving Indian.

Stopped by for a quick lunch. Location is the main draw—right next to the narrow-gauge railway, kinda cool to watch while you eat. Service was fast, no waiting around. Beer garden's decent for a chill break. Food did the job, nothing fancy but fine for a bite. Prices fair for what you get. Solid spot if you're in the area and want something quick.

Stopped by for a coffee and ended up staying longer than planned. The barista knew what they were doing — proper crema, right temperature, not bitter at all. Honestly the best cup I've had in this area. Place was quiet enough to sit and read for a bit. Service had that relaxed, friendly vibe without hovering. I'll be back when I'm craving a decent espresso.

The unagi maki were good, and the tempura came with a lot of rice. Service was friendly, but 40 minutes for the food felt a bit long.

Breakfast buffet was solid for the price. Place is small but has outdoor seating. Food ran low fast on a busy morning and refills took a while. Still, decent spread for what you pay.

The double chocolate cookie here is seriously good—fudgy, soft, exactly what I was craving. Tea selection’s solid too. Just wish the place were a bit bigger, felt a little cramped.

The flammkuchen was really good—thin, crispy, exactly what I needed. Place was packed but we still got our food fast, which surprised me. Also grabbed the apple strudel and hot chocolate to warm up, hit the spot on a cold day. Nothing fancy, just solid.

Very good hamburger. Friendly staff and our order arrived very quickly! When we are visiting hildesheim in the future we will for sure come back for dinner!

Ribeye was spot on. Cooked rare like I asked, super tender. The beef tea thing is weird but good, kinda like a savory broth. Worth grabbing if you're curious. Place was busy but we got a table quick enough. Solid spot for a steak fix.

The lentil soup with warm bread was the highlight — cozy little spot, just wish the tables weren't so close together.

Came here on a whim and honestly it was the best food I’ve had in Braunschweig so far. The dishes were creative but not overdone, everything tasted super fresh. Presentation looked nice too, but honestly the flavor did the talking. Place was a bit quiet for a Friday night, but that didn’t bother me. Would go back for sure.

The tandoori stuff is the real deal here. Meat came out juicy, proper charred edges. We ordered a mix and honestly the lamb was the standout. Service was quick, no complaints there. They mentioned a complimentary raki at the end but forgot ours—kinda funny, not mad about it though. Would go back just for the grill.

Everything I’ve ordered here has been tasty so far. The seating area is pretty comfortable too, which makes it easy to stay a bit longer.

The baked Camembert was solid, and the pork medallion with mushroom sauce hit the spot. Cool that they brew their own beer — you can see the tanks through glass.

The tasting menu really impressed me—each course looked almost too pretty to eat, and the flavors were spot on. I especially loved the German wine pairings, they matched the dishes so well. Only tiny downside: it took a while between courses, but honestly, the food made up for it.

We stopped by for lunch and I really liked the backyard seating. The schnitzel was huge, definitely enough for two. Prices are okay for the portion size. Service was friendly but a bit slow, we waited a while for the bill. Still, a decent spot if you want classic German food without any fuss.

Been going here for years. Still my favorite spot in Braunschweig. Owner's usually around in the evening, makes you feel at home. Mussels are the standout — but only in months with an "R". Solid choice if you're in the area.

The food was really good and the staff knew what they were doing. Even though the place was packed, we got our table fast. For the quality, the price felt fair. I'd say it's a solid spot if you're in the area. Maybe not mind-blowing, but dependable.

Been coming here for a while now. The terrace is still my go-to spot when the weather’s good. Prices are fair, portions are solid. Just wish they’d take card, always gotta remember to hit the ATM before. Traffic can get a bit loud if you’re sitting out front, but you get used to it.

The vegan schnitzel was the standout. Portion size was solid, not one of those tiny plates. Waitress knew exactly what had gluten in it, which saved me the usual twenty questions. The texture was surprisingly close to the real thing. Would have liked a bit more sauce on the side, but the main dish itself was spot on.

The space is in an old sugar factory, which gives it a bit of character. Not exactly pretty, but the staff were friendly and the food was pretty good. We had a decent meal there, nothing fancy. Service was fine, no complaints. It's a solid spot if you're in the area and don't mind the industrial vibe.

Currywurst was solid, right in the old town. Easy stop if you're walking around. No complaints.

Stopped by for a quick dinner. Food was solid, pasta cooked right. Dessert looked almost too good to eat. Outdoor seating is nice but yeah, street noise gets a bit much. Not a quiet spot if you wanna talk. Prices fair for what you get though.

Came here with a few friends for a rodizio fix and honestly the meat just kept coming 😅 that part was great. Salad bar was a nice break in between. Only thing that threw me off — cash only. Like who carries cash anymore? Just be prepared for that.

Stopped by for a quick lunch. Got the schnitzel, it was solid and came out fast. Place was busy but not chaotic. Fine if you're in the area and hungry. Might try the currywurst next time.

The knafeh was solid. Crispy outside, soft inside, not too sweet. I asked for sour cream on the side and that worked well. Place was a bit busy but fine. Would come back if I'm in the area again.
