The homemade cakes are decent—you can tell they’re baked on-site. Had a slice with coffee, both were pretty good. Prices are fair for what you get. Place was a bit quiet when I stopped by, but that suited me fine.

Nice place to chill with coffee and cake. Sat outside, sun was perfect. Coffee hit the spot, tea was meh though, water not hot enough.

Came here on a regular weekday evening, place wasn't too packed. Had the schnitzel, portion was generous for the price. Quality is decent, nothing fancy but you get what you pay for. Service was fine, no complaints. I'd come back if I'm in the area and want a solid meal without breaking the bank.

Decent price for what you get, especially with the Markt view. Decor's a bit tired and the music is old, but the food's solid. Service was friendly enough. Fine for a casual meal.

The cakes are the real reason to come here—got a slice of their chocolate torte and it was solid. Cappuccino was good but came in a tiny cup. Fine for a quick stop.

Decent little café. Had the tarte flambée and it was pretty good. Service was friendly, though the place got a bit noisy later on. Fine for a casual stop.

Service was the highlight for me. Even with the place completely full, they got us seated fast and kept checking in. They even brought a booster seat and kids' cutlery for our daughter without us asking. Nice touch. Only thing, it got a bit loud, but that's expected when it's busy.

The sausages here are really good, proper quality meat. Fresh rolls too, you can taste the difference. Owner's a friendly guy, always up for a quick chat. Place gets busy around lunchtime but that's a good sign. Been coming here for a while now, never been disappointed. Just wish they had a bit more seating inside.

Stopped by for lunch and grabbed the schnitzel. Portion was solid for the price, honestly didn't expect it to be that filling. Cash only though, which caught me off guard. Had to run to the ATM around the corner. Food itself was fresh and the owner was friendly enough. Fine if you're in the area and have cash on you.

The vegan schnitzel was actually pretty good—crispy and not dry like most places. The burger was solid too. Prices felt fair for what you get. Just wish the seating area was a bit more comfortable, the chairs were kinda hard.

Service is always on point. Even at peak lunch rush, they kept it moving. Staff friendly, no hovering. I grabbed a quick bite and was out in 20 minutes. Place gets loud but that's fine when you're in and out. Solid spot if you need something fast without the hassle.

Been stopping by this place for a while now. Coffee's consistently solid, and they added more vegan stuff which is nice. Staff actually remembers you after a few visits. Nothing fancy, just a decent spot to grab a quick cup.

The iced espresso with that frozen whipped cream on top was a proper pick-me-up. Sat outside in the courtyard, which was nice. Service was quick too. Would've liked a slightly bigger cup for the price, but it hit the spot.

Been coming here for years. Breakfast is solid, cakes are good too. Service stays friendly even when it gets busy. Still one of the better spots in Wernigerode.

The cheesecake here is homemade and honestly the best I've had in a long time. Sat on the terrace afterwards, very relaxing. 😊

Decent spot to warm up after a hike. Homemade cakes were pretty good, service was fine. Indoor seating's a bit tight though, fills up fast.

Came here with a couple of friends before catching our train. Portions are seriously big, we couldn't even finish everything 😅 Prices are fair for what you get. Service was quick too, which we needed since we were kinda in a hurry. Solid spot if you're around the station and hungry.

Unlimited coffee with the buffet is such a good deal ☕️ Food stayed fresh and the staff kept everything stocked. Solid spot for a chill breakfast.

Coffee and cake turned into the breakfast buffet. 10€ for unlimited coffee plus fruit, juice, pastries. Solid deal for a quick bite.

Generous portions for the price, no complaints there. The schnitzel was solid and the sides were fresh. Filling meal without breaking the bank.

Nice spot along the river, terrace is perfect for watching the canoes drift by. Had the meat skewer, solid home-style cooking. Service was quick and friendly. Pair it with a decent German beer and you're set.

Been coming here for a while now, and the seitan dürüm keeps me coming back. Properly seasoned, not dry, actually fills you up. Nice to see a veggie option that isn't just falafel or cheese for once. Place gets busy around lunch, but it's worth the short wait.

Been coming here for a while now. The homemade cakes are still solid, and the chickens wandering around keep the kids entertained every time. Nice spot to just sit and relax.

Decent all-you-can-eat place. Staff were quick and friendly, which I appreciated. The food selection is huge, though the room itself feels a bit plain. Fair price for what you get.

Ordered the 500g schnitzel – that thing is massive. Took me a while but I got through it. Solid choice if you're hungry.
