花梨秋月Bill's Restaurant is right next to the statue of Charles I, with a theatre in front. It serves mainly British cuisine, and the food is served very quickly, within 30 minutes. However, there will be a service charge of about 10% on the bill. They serve burgers (also vegetarian), macaroni and cheese, chicken and fish cakes. It is a 5-minute walk from Piccadilly Station.

TheForkUserThe Library is beautiful. My father worked there for 25 years and it was amazing that over 4000 of the original books remained there.Chandia, our waiter was superb. Very charming, helpful and a pleasure.Our only reservation was the sandwiches in the Afternoon Tea. There were so meanly filled. Although they should be of delicate construction, the filling was hard to define as there was so little of it. The offer of more sandwiches was nice but one doesn’t want to fill up on bread.The pastries were beautiful which emphasized the sandwiches looking rather pathetic.

日下文Amaya is a modern Indian restaurant. Unlike the usual curry-based Indian restaurants, Amaya's reputation comes from its innovative grilled tapas. The open kitchen in the restaurant is equipped with a proper charcoal grill and a kiln grill, and the grilled food is very tasty. As for recommendations, the turmeric and tarragon chicken tikka with fresh gravy and the flashed-grill rocket oysters are the best. There are also Indian flatbreads freshly made from the kiln grill, which are rich in onion and garlic flavor and have a slightly chewy taste. The vegetarian food is not amazing, but the combination of novel ingredients is harmonious. After a round of grilled food, it is appropriate to order a chicken and apricot briyani made with aged Indian fragrant rice, accompanied by a small bowl of pomegranate and brooding raita dotted with rose petals, and the strong taste in your mouth will turn into light and elegant in an instant. Overall rating: Delicious and ambience/high score, unique Indian cuisine, worth a visit. Unfortunately, it is slightly below my expectations for a one-star restaurant.

Hyt-xoIn the Marriott Hotel next to the London Eye, you can see the Thames from the window. It is a very formal British restaurant. The waiters are wearing tuxedos. It feels very good to be served. Various steaks are the signature here. It is a perfect dinner.

M43***62We had a choice of 12 or 14 courses, the 14 was courses was around £200/head. You will need to book several weeks in advance as they only sit 20 people (around the kitchen table). To be able to watch the a dozen chefs cook and prepare 14 courses in front of you is an incredible experience. It’s got 2 Michelin stars, and both very well deserved. As you sit around the kitchen table (for 2-3 hours) the experience works best for couples.

M43***62This was the most amazing Chinese restaurant I’ve been at in London. Raphael was the most welcoming and gentle person in the restaurant. Food and drinks were unbelievably and we enjoyed it so much. For sure I’ll be coming back anytime soon!!!

M43***62We have been thinking about to go to Gordon Ramsay (Hospital Road) for quite some time and post the lifting of lockdown this felt like a good opportunity. A word of warning for anyone who decides to drive allow a little extra time to find parking as it did take us about ten minutes to find somewhere. When we got to the restaurant, it was well worth the extra time. The atmosphere is lovely and felt very Covid secure. The welcome was warm and the tables were nicely set apart. The menu is on first sight quite simple but the combinations of flavours when the dishes arrive are sublime. There are no offers for side dishes and quite frankly you don’t need them. The signature starter dish of the ravioli was fabulous as was the beef with leeks.
