The food was really authentic and the atmosphere was lovely. But honestly, the portion sizes for the price were a bit smaller than I expected. Still tasty though.

Decent spot for a pint. The rooftop terrace is a nice touch, especially on a sunny afternoon. Bit of a walk from the tube, but the location near the high street is handy for meeting up.

Their Margherita is my go-to. The crust has that perfect crisp, the sauce is tangy, and the mozzarella is so fresh. It&rsquo;s just consistently good every single time.

The original painting inside is really something. I enjoyed reading the little description card next to it. The bar staff were very friendly and made the visit nice and easy.

A cosy little pub. The chicken platter was a real surprise &ndash; so pretty on the plate and cooked just right. Flavours were spot on. A proper treat.

The vegetarian thali was fantastic, and the house red wine paired surprisingly well with the spiced lentils. A new go-to spot.

The Tandoori Butter Chicken was the standout. It&#39;s not overly sweet like some places do it, which I prefer. The chicken was tender and the sauce had a good depth of spice. Just focused on that one dish and it hit the spot.

Dog friendly and the prawn sandwich was fantastic. Really comfortable bar stools for watching the world go by.

Ive not been in the Cardigan Arms for around 30 years. I was delighted that the magnificent decor, furniture and layout hadnt been changed and that they were now serving food. I had a fabulous beef Sunday roast and my neighbour had succulent gammon, Yorkshire puds etc. I asked for extra gravy, which was delicious and horse raddish.  The staff were really helpful, infact quite charming.  A good selection of beers, wines and a well stacked bar.  Easy access from the street and plenty of parking. As an ex-Secret Diner, it really ticked all the boxes for me.  Thanks Liam, your a great chef

The coffee is always spot on here, properly hot and well-made. I like that the service is quick and efficient, too. It&#39;s a good spot for a reliable morning pick-me-up.
