Popped in for a slice of carrot cake and ended up trying the black forest gateau too. The cake selection is really something! So many choices, it was hard to pick just one. A lovely little spot for a sweet treat.

The free WiFi's decent, but honestly, I'm here for the food. Their burger patty is thick and properly juicy, cooked just right. The bun holds up well, doesn't get soggy. That's what keeps me coming back.

A pretty decent spot for a city centre break. The vibe is chilled, which was nice after a busy morning. Had a simple coffee and a pastry - both were fine. It's not a destination in itself, but does the job.

The kunafah was the star for me. Still warm, crispy on top and not overly sweet. The areeka was nice too, a bit like a sticky toffee pudding but different. Just stopped in for dessert and left happy.

Stumbled into this place inside Brew York. The bao buns were huge and seriously flavourful. Had a couple with one of their own beers. Solid combo for a casual bite.

The veggie breakfast is a solid choice for a weekend brunch with friends. They open early, which is handy!

The full English breakfast was solid. Bacon crispy, eggs runny, sausages had a good snap. Everything arrived hot. Also grabbed a couple of their fruit teacakes to go - they toast up nicely at home.

The pistachio cannoli was a real standout! They also had loads of vegan and gluten-free pastries, which was perfect for our group. A bit pricey, but a great spot to catch up with friends over coffee and cake.

The staff really know their stuff, especially with wine pairings for dietary restrictions. Felt very well looked after.

I'm a regular for their batch brew, it's always good. But I was surprised they have decaf and iced options too. For the price of a regular coffee, you get a proper specialty drink. Makes it a solid choice.

The armchairs are a bit worn and could do with a refresh, but honestly, the buzz when it's full is part of the charm. Just be prepared for things to feel a bit cosy and loud.

Always a go-to for a jacket potato. The portions are generous, which I appreciate. I focus on the freshness of the fillings, and they’re consistently good. The tuna mayo is my usual, it’s simple but feels like a proper, fresh meal.

The Jhol Momos were fantastic, and the broth paired really well with a crisp lager. The homemade lemonade was a nice, not-too-sweet touch.

Matt and Lottie are super quick. Paid for my latte and it was already being made. For the price, you get your coffee fast when you need it. No waiting around, which is exactly what I wanted.

Lovely spot to sit outside under the big tree. The shade was just right on a warm afternoon, made it feel really relaxed. Staff were friendly too.

A lovely little spot for a quiet coffee. The chairs are surprisingly comfortable, which is a nice touch.

Popped in for a late breakfast. The scrambled eggs with salmon on sourdough really stood out – the eggs were so soft and the salmon tasted incredibly fresh. That's exactly what I look for. The coffee was good too. There was a bit of a wait, but I didn't mind.

Orla was so attentive despite the Black Friday rush. My negroni was just right, not too sweet. The whole vibe felt calm even with the crowd.

The lamb kebabs are pretty good, especially with the chilli sauce. A solid choice for a late bite. It's a bit loud inside, but fine for a quick meal.

Pistachio croissant was fresh and buttery. Filling amount was spot on. Coffee paired well. Got mine to go during a busy lunch hour - they handled the queue efficiently. Solid quick bite.

The full English was spot on, especially those grilled mushrooms. They took me right back. Had it with a proper pot of strong breakfast tea, which was just the thing. A solid start to the day.

Been coming here for years. They do a solid range of sandwiches and bread, but you've got to get in early. Always busy with locals, which says it all really. My usual is the ham and cheese on rye, simple but good.

Quirky, relaxed spot in a historic building. Good for a casual drink with a friend. The vibe is the main draw here.

Cosy spot with soft lighting and Turkish tunes. Had a relaxed dinner here. The house red was surprisingly good with the meze platter. A bit on the pricier side for the wine list, but the vibe was spot on.
