Aishan Review

Aishan Scenic Area is about 20 kilometers away from the urban area. It is the only natural scenic spot in Jiaozhou that integrates mountains, waters and plains. It is also a comprehensive scenic spot with rich historical and cultural connotations. The scenic spot is located in Yanghe Town, Zhangying Town, Dongcheng Town, Jiaozhou City. It consists of Aishan, Dongshi, Xishi and Shanzhou Reservoir. Its total area is 8.6 square kilometers. Because Aishan Scenic Area is the missionary place of Taoism, temples, gods and incense have flourished since ancient times. Aishan scenic spot is the focus of the whole scenic spot, which consists of two peaks, the south peak as the main peak, 229.2 meters above sea level, the North Peak 224 meters above sea level, and the scenic spot has the Notre Dame Temple. Dongshi is 137 meters above sea level, towering like a stone lion. Yuhuang Temple at the foot of Dongshi has a high popularity among the local people. Xishi is about 140 meters above sea level, climbing Xishi and submitting to the mountains can make people feel the feeling of "mountain to the top of the mountain is my peak" and Baizidian is the scenic spot. The East Stone and the West Stone in Aishan Scenic Spot are known as one of the Eight Scenic Spots in Jiaozhou. It is said that Erlang God was demoted and punished for his trespasses. The Jade Emperor ordered him to fill the East China Sea with Dangshan Mountain, stumbled by a rock while walking, and scattered one stone in each basket into two stones, which is the origin of Shier Zhengqi.
