仓姑寺离八廓街不远，在一个小巷子里面。门口是仓姑寺的甜茶馆，甜茶也很好喝，基本见不到游客，很有当地风情。如果只是来仓姑寺甜茶馆喝茶不需要买门票，进去参观需要买门票，40元。里面很小，但是建筑风格很漂亮，颜色鲜艳，黄色的墙适合拍照。院子里面一共有3层，游客只能跟1-2层参观，3层不让上去，因为是姑子们住的地方。团队是不会来这里的，所以很安静，逛累了再喝一杯甜茶可以耗上一下午的时间。。。

仓姑寺可是拉萨城内唯一的一个尼姑庵，这里的甜茶远近闻名，是当地藏人的最爱，也吸引了很多游客前来。尼姑庵里的鲜花盛放，阳光和土红色的墙面格外好看，泡一壶甜茶，吃上几个藏包子，来到这里，不妨放慢身心，好好体验一把当地人的生活。

仓姑寺位于西藏拉萨城内，属藏传佛教格鲁派寺庙，是拉萨城内唯一的一座尼姑寺庙。该寺在藏传佛教界享有较高的声望，有着与众不同的传统和风格。主佛殿的面积并不很大，分上下两层，上层是经堂。殿门沿台阶而上，殿门两边绘制有四大天王壁画，屋檐和门柱雕饰，几乎与其他藏传佛教寺院相同。
