Bund Sightseeing Tunnel Review

The Bund Sightseeing Tunnel in Shanghai is quite the trip! It's a short, but trippy ride with colorful lights and funky music. A quirky way to cross the river and a fun, if not a little kitschy, experience! 🚇✨

The line has a total length of 646.7 meters, with two stations and 14 cars. Construction started in 1998 and trial operation began in October 2000. The tunnel is a single-hole double-lane tunnel, passing through the upper part of the Metro Line 2 tunnel near the end of Puxi

The bund sightseeing tunnel is just a ride in a small train car that connects the two banks of the river. We booked a round trip ticket and we got some pictures at the stand by the rideThe tunnel is decorated with light to enjoy your ride. Nothing extraordinary but nice to experience.

It is an old scenic spot. Under the Bund View Road, the tunnel is said to be a shelter renovation. The price is a bit higher. It takes three to five minutes to reach Pudong.

Nice experience, worth the price of 140 yuan ( round trip ticket for 2 persons). The tunnel connect the 2 sides of the huangpu River, is not a long ride, it is about 10 minutes in total. That’s why I’ll give 4 stars, expected to be a longer ride. The pictographic view is accompanied you ocean sounds, music and special audio effect. Worth the time to go!
