Carisbrooke Castle is located in the middle of the Isle of Wight, where Charles I was imprisoned. On 11 August 1898, Queen Victoria’s youngest daughter opened Risbrook Castle to the public and a museum was built to provide personal relics, documents, photographs, printed publications and military equipment during the English Civil War, etc. The castle has a typical English architectural style, and the endless fields can be seen from the city walls, with beautiful scenery.
