Clock Tower Review

The St. Lawrence River is the main river in eastern North America and the outlet of the five Great Lakes. The St. Lawrence River flows from the northeast end of Lake Ontario and injects the Atlantic Gulf of St. Lawrence, with a total length of 1,287 km and a basin area of about 300,000 square kilometers. From the lake mouth to Montreal, Canada, the St. Lawrence River is upstream, about 300 kilometers long, the river bed is larger than the drop, more rapids and dangerous beaches, rich water resources, but not conducive to navigation. Montreal to Quebec is the middle of the St. Lawrence River, 256 kilometers long, the decline is reduced, the flow speed is slow. Below Quebec is the lower reaches of the St. Lawrence River, more than 700 kilometers long, the river is widened, and the estuary is subsided to form a 50 km wide and 400 km long triangular bay. The precipitation in the St. Lawrence River Basin is abundant, plus the five lakes are adjusted, the water volume is relatively stable, the flow rate at the estuary is about 10,000 cubic meters/second, and the seasonal changes in water volume are small. The upper St. Lawrence River has been renovated since the 1950s, with a number of artificial waterways, canals and locks being built, and sea ships can reach the ports of the five Great Lakes.

This is worth visiting, especially since its free! 192 steps to the top, and each one is numbered. The spiral staircase is a bit tight, but the view is worth the climb.

The Clock Tower was built from 1919 to 1922 that faces St. Lawrence river. It is a beautiful clock tower in which you can climb a spiraling stair case to reach a stunning view of Quebec.
