青岩古镇是贵阳市郊的一处知名景点，从市区河滨公园门口坐3元票价的210快巴可直达古镇，古镇内有好几座城门，而定广门是古镇的南门，通往广顺和定番的路就从这里开始，定广门也因此得名。定广门上有古城墙、敌楼、垛口、炮台，全用方块巨石筑就，登上去还可走到古镇后山的城墙上。残缺的城垣高大挺拔，在山岭间蜿蜒开来。如今城门前依旧有层叠交错的麦田，透过墙栏门洞，古旧老宅都被青瓦覆盖，每一块石头似乎都在诉说着历史的沧桑，历史厚重感扑面而来。行至此，无不领略到古镇的悠悠古韵，站在城门上远眺也别有一番风味。现在城门前有层叠交错的麦田，风景非常不错。定广门前的石板路，现在称为古驿道，在此是拍摄定广门的最佳位置，通常外来游客都是从此门或北门进，进入青岩古镇还需购买10元大门票，古镇内景点是80元通票，定广门免票。青岩古镇与黔东南镇远、赤水丙安、锦屏隆里并称为贵州四大古镇，贵州旅游多以山水自然风光和民族风情取胜，古镇古城相对鲜为人知。古镇因明朝屯兵而建，是由屯堡演化而来的石头城。个人觉得有两大特色，一是你会惊叹这是一座石头而建的古镇，石瓦、石墙、石屋、石牌坊、石板铺路；二是小镇上佛、道、基督、天主四教文化共存共融，四教的建筑现都有保存。
