Tickets are ten yuan, cash. Or there is cash to queue up at a separate window. I gave 100, and she found me eight, ten yuan, two, five yuan. I saw so many change for the first time in recent years. Go up, the back door goes directly to Xuanwu Lake.

The history of Jiming Temple can be traced back to Qixuan Temple in Dongwu. The site is the place of Wuguo's back garden when the three kingdoms were located; the first year of Yongkang in Xijin (300 years) was built in the mountain room and the original Daochang; after Dongjin, it was opened as the Tingwei Department; In the first year of Nanliang Datong (527), Liang Wu Emperor built Tongtai Temple in Jimingyu, and he "sent his body" four times here, and promulgated the "broken wine and meat" in the monastery, which was the beginning of Buddhist vegetarianism, so that this place has truly become a Buddhist resort since then. It was then residing here; the Nantang Yiming Jingju Temple, then changed to Yuanji Temple; the Song Dynasty was changed to Fabao Temple. Twenty years (1387) Ming Dynasty Hongwu Ming Taizu Zhu Yuanxu ordered the reconstruction of the monastery, expand the scale, and the imperial title "Jiming Temple", after continuous expansion, the courtyard scale is large, covering more than 1,000 mu, the hall of the pavilion, Taishe house more than 30 houses; the Qing Dynasty Xianfeng years destroyed in the war, the same period of re-establishment; In 1958, it was changed to Nizhong Daochang; since 1983, it was rebuilt on a scale in the Ming and Qing Dynasties, and it was gradually opened to the outside world; in 1992, the "New White Lady Legend" crew was not built because the Leifeng Tower in Hangzhou had fallen and the new one had not been built. They came to Nanjing Jiming Temple to borrow the pharmacist pagoda to shoot the scenes of Leifeng Tower.

Located in the north of Nanjing City, on the edge of Xuanwu Lake, there are many believers, the temple is not big, the building feels well repaired, and the incense is endless. It is good to look back at Xuanwu Lake Park, the feeling of the ancient city temple, it is worth visiting.
