Jiming Temple (Jiming Temple) is located on the foothills of Jilong Mountain in Shandong Province, Xuanwu District, Nanjing, also known as the ancient Jiming Temple. It was built in the first year of Yongkang in Xijin (300 years). It has a history of more than 1,700 years. It is one of the oldest Fancha and Royal Temples in Nanjing. It is the Buddhist center of China during the Southern Dynasty. Jiming Temple can be traced back to Qixuan Temple in Dongwu, where the temple site was the place of Wuguo's back garden when the three kingdoms were located. The first year of Yongkang in the west Jin (300 years) was built in the mountain room and founded the Daochang; after the east Jin, it was established as the Tingwei Department; In the first year of Nanliang Datong (527), Liang Wu Emperor built Tongtai Temple in Jimingyu, and he "sent his body" four times here, and promulgated the "broken wine and meat" in the monastery, which was the beginning of Buddhist vegetarianism, so that this place has truly become a Buddhist resort since then. It was then residing here; the Nantang Yiming Jingju Temple, then changed to Yuanji Temple; the Song Dynasty was changed to Fabao Temple. Twenty years (1387) Ming Dynasty Hongwu Ming Taizu Zhu Yuanxu ordered the reconstruction of the monastery, expand the scale, and the imperial title "Jiming Temple", after continuous expansion, the courtyard scale is large, covering more than 1,000 mu, the hall of the pavilion, Taishe house more than 30 houses; the Qing Dynasty Xianfeng years destroyed in the war, the same period of re-establishment; In 1958, it was changed to Nizhong Daochang; since 1983, it was rebuilt on a scale in the Ming and Qing Dynasties, and it was gradually opened to the outside world; in 1992, the "New White Lady Legend" crew was not built because the Leifeng Tower in Hangzhou had fallen and the new one had not been built.
