Lanzhou University is located in Lanzhou City, Gansu Province, referred to as "Landa", formerly Gansu Political and Law School in the late Qing Dynasty. Lanzhou University was originally founded in 1909, and expanded to Lanzhou Sun Yat-sen University in 1928. In 1946, it was named National Lanzhou University, which belongs to the key universities of China "985" and "211". Although Lanzhou University is located in the northwest, the campus construction combines the characteristics of north and south architecture, integrating the charm of Jiangnan and the grandeur of the northwest.
