Laohua Temple Review

It is a mosque with a history, but compared with the far old Hua Temple introduced in the temple, it seems to be much smaller and simpler. When we went, it was still being repaired, but it did not affect the believers to come to the event.

Linxia County is said to be 98 [%] of people are Hui people. Then within a few hundred meters of Huasi Street, there are Laohua Temple, Xinhua Temple, Tiejia Temple, Qianheyan Temple, and the latter two are less than 100 meters apart. Except for Xinhua Temple, the other scales are very large.

There are many mosques on the street of Huasi where Laohua Temple is located, and there are places for Hui people to worship. Others are not allowed to enter. The building is very distinctive.

Linxia's famous mosque, old as one of the ancient temples in Hezhou, is now a rebuilt Arab-style building, ancient style is not there, but Islamic style is strong.
