非常值得去，一路参观下来，平时没心没肺的小孩也沉默起来，爱国主义教育从娃娃抓起！景区服务协调能力还可以再提高一些。一个小插曲：东泓炮台等要上摆渡车时，我们一家四口包括两个小孩，上车慢了点，几个座分散在各排，正好后一辆车也到了，出于方便照顾小朋友确保安全的考虑，我们就上了后一辆车，结果工作人员非要我们上前一辆车，我们说上一辆不好坐下，居然急赤白脸的跟我们吼要能坐下怎么办？怎么的？要能坐下还要打我们？有这时间较真抓紧安排后面人上车不好么？那么多排队的人看不到么？

去刘公岛路上时间比较短，我打车到轮渡渡口，等船再坐船登岛大概要1个小时，还有在路上认识一个本地小姐姐一起徒步走到炮台，也看到毛爷爷提字的大石头，感受甲午战争当时水军所做的准备，也了解了甲午战争及当时国家动荡，非常值得去看，坐船的时候还有海鸥，还有海风，这是我人生中第一次在大海上坐船登陆的岛屿，非常值得～

刘公岛景区值得一去，很漂亮，适合游玩，也非常有教育意义，推荐。入岛离岛船只方便，平稳，有很多海鸥，景色优美迷人，海水很蓝，可以在入岛的时候购买电瓶车观光票，包括潜水艇参观，方便老人小孩，不错。岛上是甲午战争纪念岛，很有教育意义，可以感受北洋水师的魅力。推荐
