Yuanmingyuan Park Review

Wandering through Yuan Ming Yuan, the Old Summer Palace in China, felt like a journey back in time. Among the ruins, I could almost hear the echoes of past grandeur. Climbing the crumbling structures offered a glimpse into the palace's former glory. Despite its dilapidated state, Yuan Ming Yuan remains a captivating testament to China's history.

This attraction is really beautiful! The scenery is beautiful and the environment is quiet, which is very suitable for relaxing. The scenic area is managed in an orderly manner, and the service staff are warm and thoughtful, giving people a feeling of being at home. Definitely a recommended tourist destination! Bringing my family to this attraction, everyone is very happy! The scenic spot has beautiful scenery and many well-designed attractions and activities.

It is very convenient to accompany your parents to play and live in the big hotel next to the scenic spot. It takes a few minutes to walk to the scenic spot. There are not many tourists on the first day of May Day. The experience is very good. It is very comfortable to stroll along the lake and come back by the big boat. Very good, very satisfied.

Beautiful but crazy busy! My sister and I went during the Labour Day holiday. as expected, all tourist attractions were overcrowded but manageable, however this particular place was too crowded. The paths are quite narrow so we felt it more. Nevertheless this place is supper worth it. Lots of water and greenery around, with some old ruins.

Was lucky enough to go on a sunny day that was not crowded! Mid-morning is best, and it’s good to spend at least 2 hours here. Easy by ride share or subway/walk. There’s a lot of history, and the site is massive in terms of ruins and unkept landscape. Perfect April-September.

Big park! Lots of historical ruins. Would be great if you have a guide to explain its significance. Not easy to get around with kids as it’s impossible to cover everything in a day.
