Sevan Monastery Review

Savan, Armenia is the closest region to Georgia, where there are not many people and tourists, and it is because of this that it is full of exploration. The architectural style here is Caucasian.

Saifan Abbey is located on a small peninsula on the shore of Lake Saifan, which is said to be just an island in the center of the lake. It is now the appearance of human construction. He was built in the ninth century AD. Commonly known as the Black Church.

早餐后离开杂卡佐尔市前往赛凡湖修道院。车程30多分钟。这座修道院很久以前处于孤岛上，人们需要坐船才能近距离参观。斯大林统治时期的苏维埃政府决定抽取赛凡湖的水调往其它干旱地区。水位下降20米后孤岛变成为与主路相连的半岛并且保留至今。该修道院建于公元874，根据墙壁上刻写的记录，是由Ashot I世的女儿-Mariam公主主持建造。当时的亚美尼亚正试图摆脱阿拉伯的统治。

随后驱车继续沿着塞凡湖前行约40多公里，历时四十分钟，16:20我们抵达今天最后一个游览景点塞凡修道院。这是位于延伸进塞凡湖的一段半岛高地上的修道院，大概是因为周末的缘故，这里的游客特别多。连停车场都是满满的。我们把车停到附近摊贩的后面区域，然后带着早上煮的菜，沿着登山台阶走上半岛高地。这里可以俯瞰浩瀚的塞凡湖，这时我们登高望远才发现这个塞凡湖真的是大，刚才我们驱车走了约二个多小时，竟然还没有走完它的半圈，而湖泊的一面似乎还看不到湖岸。随后在这个半岛高地上走到最端头观赏风景，沿着山脊小路继续向东走一小段，这段小路边上长满了各式发黄的茅草，在这个季节呈现出蓝天白云之下沧黄的颜色，在湖泊与远处群山的映衬下也算是一番独特的景色。除了看湖景，我们同时也从不同的角度观赏位于湖边的这座修道院，如今的修道院存有两座教堂，它们造型类似，均有着八边形锥顶结构。其中较大的一座为圣徒教堂，另一座为圣母教堂。最后我们走进教堂内部参观了比较简单的内部。17:40我们结束在这里约八十分钟的游览，驱车离开前往今晚的住宿目的地迪利然。

不到塞凡湖不算来过亚美尼亚，不走访SEVANAVANK修道院就不算来塞凡湖，建築、石碑、湖景、半島植物都会人流連忘返。而且一定要吃吃塞凡湖的魚呢！
