The castle has long been the residence of the Polish royal family and is one of the national symbols of Poland. Since 1930, the castle has been converted to a museum. The castle is one of the top art museums in Poland. The museum's collection of Oriental and Ottoman art is also second to none in Poland.

Vaville Castle is now one of Poland's premier art museums, and Waville Castle is one of Poland's largest castles, representing almost all European architectural styles during the Middle Ages, Renaissance and Baroque periods. Wavel Castle and Wavel Mountain constitute the most historic and cultural sites in Poland. For centuries, it served as the residence of the Polish king and the symbol of the Polish state.

Just in the center of Krakow, located on the banks of the Visva River, it is really beautiful, although not big, but it is worth visiting, with many ancient buildings around it form the cultural core of Krakow's old capital.

Pretty castle located atop a hill. It houses beautiful historic buildings and offers panoramic views of the city. A great castle complex.
