Hotels With Spa in Special Region of Yogyakarta, Indonesia

The stay experience was great. As soon as I entered the hotel, I was warmly received by Fernanda, who took me to the restaurant of the hotel to experience the free refreshments and tea provided by the local hotel. We had a long conversation together. Fernanda was very sweet and sincere, and patiently answered many of my questions. I also learned about the local life in Indonesia through this opportunity, which was a great experience. Also experienced the hotel Spa, also very good ~ have the opportunity to come to Indonesia again will choose this hotel.

Placed at Dagen, part of Malioboro street makes this hotel have an easy access to wherever we desire to go visit in Yogya. Near to the Station was one of the reason I pick this hotel. The team let me have the access to the hotel room in early check-in time. Room was nice and neat. The TV had various channel both local and international. One more great thing is the outdoor area on 5th floor, such cozy to hangout.

Booked the room with pool view (a bit higher price compared to non pool view, you decide from my photo whether it’s worth or not). Everything was great. Room is very cozy. I love the long sofa beside the window, very comfortable to do everything. Service is awesome. Parking spot is a lot. Breakfast is one of the best. Only few steps away to Pakuwon mall (exactly next to the hotel).

All staffs especialy the security upon arrival were superb! I had problem with the bed and the phone didn’t work. The staff came immediately to fix and help me to move to another room. Despite this issue, I would still recommend this hotel due to the superb service, cleanliness and the friendly fast response staffs. Only one note that they are very strict with check in and check out time.

Conveniently located right in front of the train station. Getting on the airport express train was a breeze for my early morning flight the next day. The hotel serve me its purpose. But not recommended for light sleepers as it tends to get super noisy with chaotic traffic, live music and non stop train announcements.

Location is good. Beside a small mall and also near to 1 of the popular restaurants. Room is quite spacious and clean.. but the air con was a bit hard to control - too cold if we on the fan even to the lowest; seemed like no ventilation when we off the fan. The comforter was not very thick so it was still freezing for us when we had the fan on. But overall still a good stay.

Pleasant stay If you're on a budget, this hotel is a good option. Room was clean, minimalist industrial interior, sufficient amenities, room a little bit dark, but still okay, no views outside the window Bathroom, no separate between shower and closet, so the bathroom will get wet and slippery, other than that, the bathroom quite spacious, so it's comfortable to bath Walking distance to Malioboro, didn't take breakfast, because i prefer local culinary.

It's an upscale hotel. The staff are very welcoming and nice of them to upgrade us to Deluxe Premiere Double room. Bed is very comfortable and air conditioning is good (esp. for the hot weather). Cleanliness can be improved (eg toilet). Our room is right in front of the lift but we were not being disturbed by noises. Breakfast spread is good! Quite a few eateries around the hotel. Otherwise, taking Grab taxi to places is convenient and reasonable fares.

Back in 2019, I actually used to stay here. I felt comfortable with the hotel policy at that time. Nevertheless, in 2022 it turns out that there is a new hotel policy of hotel access card deposit charge of one hundred thousand Rupiahs (in 2019, it used to be only fifty thousand Rupiahs). This one hundred thousand charge, in my opinion, is relatively expensive if we consider using that money amount in the Jogjakarta, because you can buy many things with that charge nominal. When I made a suggestion to re-evaluate the policy, the duty manager didn't want to listen or even receive any feedback from me. He/she use the receptionist as ”complaint shield” for absorbing complaints, and only teach the staff for being ”Yes man” service quality. This hotel employs the worst duty manager management i have ever known. Don't be fooled by the outside appearance, but look deeply the service quality whether this hotel has implemented customer oriented or not.

I live in Yogyakarta and recently stayed here one night to beat a power outage. Had a good experience. The place has a strong Indonesian flavor; of about a hundred people around at breakfast (included), I was the only Westerner. This means no eggs at breakfast, but there is cereal. Rooms are clean and pleasant, and if you get one with a north view, you can see Mount Merapi on a clear day from an upper floor. Above-average batik shop in the lobby would probably take care of your gift needs in one swoop. You can find places closer to the tourist action, but why not stay where Indonesians stay and see some more of the city? You'll save some money compared to the city center.

Great location! The hotel is located across from the train station which actually has a number of simple eating places and a minimart. Malioboro walking street is only a block away. It is packed at night with locals and tourists out to see and be seen. There is a mall on Malioboro street about 4 blocks away with a number of simple places to eat and a grocery store. Grab is always available and can take you anywhere in town for a few $US. The room price was about $33 per night with breakfast included. Being across from the train station, the horns on the trains woke me up multiple times each night. The bed was comfortable, the TV was good, the shower had decent pressure, but the toilet had a smell. Towels and sheets were stained and showed their age. The hotel will only give you one key, so if you have two or more independent persons staying here, room access would be a headache. The is no mini-fridge. I saw no other non-indonesians except me staying here. Front desk personnel spoke English but limited. Seating at breakfast was way too limited for the number eating, and several times when I went back for more I returned to find people seated at my table and unable to communicate because of language. I just sat in any empty spot and continued eating which freaked them out although they pretended to not see me sitting there. The restaurant staff spoke no English at all so ordering eggs or drinks was tough, and I did not get what was desired a lot. The lobby, elevators, and hallways were clean and modern. I like this hotel and may stay here again based on the location and bed comfort, but will likely skip the breakfast and ask for better towels and sheets upon check-in. I will post a picture of the horribly stained chair in the room which I just covered with one of the stained towels.

I had booked 4 nights (02 Feb 2023 to 06 Feb 2023) at horaios Malioboro hotel. However, I only stayed for 2 nights. I have to checked out 2 nights early because I did not feel Safe and secure to stay to the end of my booking. First night I stay here, there is NO safety deposit box which the hotel advertise on Agoda they have safety deposite box. The next morning, I went down to restaurant for breakfast. One of the staff from FnB looked at most of the time while im having my breakfast. The way that staff looked at me, like im a criminal. The second night of my stay, I released that the room door DOES NOT lock by itself. So, I complained it that night. The front office send a technician to fix it. However, the technician could not fix the lock. The technician suggested to me to lock it manually from inside. I told him what happen im leaving the room? How can I lock it from inside? He Said nothing he can do about it. They dont even thinking to move me to other room. So I have to check out 2 nights early. And No, the hotel DO NOT refund my money for 2 nights. For those who want to book at this (horaios malioboro hotel) better think twice.

I Loved this Hotel in the middle of City, they have affordable rate and kindly staff. Mrs. Ria from Housekeeping was so nice Person, she provide everything i need, even if i have request for extra bed near midnight. So apreciate for Housekeeping Team. Nice breakfast for Fnb Team, I loved your chicken porridge. Clear information for Miss Nadella, FO team. Clear pool side for Mr. Miarto and Engineer team. You have a fresh Swimmingpool. Also manager on duty yang sangat pro aktif. Im so satisfied Cheers

I recently stayed at The Rich Hotel over the weekend, and I was really impressed. The room was spacious, clean, and comfy. The hotel is conveniently located near Jogja City Mall, allowing me to enjoy karaoke, shopping, and dining easily. The price I paid was definitely worth the quality I got. Highly recommended!

EastParc was excellent for our 8yr old he absolutely loved all the activities and the facilities are great. The activities are impeccably clean and the staff are excellent. Breakfast has a lot of options and again the staff are very helpful and lovely. The room was a good size with a large balcony. The only slight downside was the bathroom - it could do with a bit of an update but was functional overall. Check staff were also very helpful and friendly. We were pleasantly surprised with how good this hotel staff was.

Always love to stay here.. Because the location is very strategic.. The room is also nice, there is a fridge.. Really good.. This is the umpteenth time staying here

I arrive at the hotel on Saturday at 2 A.M. The check in process was smooth and hassle free. The great thing during this check in process is when i asked about breakfast, the check in agent who handled me (i forgot the name, sorry), not only mentioned about the breakfast price and inform that the breakfast will be only delivered to the room, but also recommend to look around the hotel for the breakfast. When i enter the room. It was as expected. Spotlessly clean. The room itself is instagrammable and there were many spot in the hotel if you care about creating content on social media. The bathroom are also spotlessly clean. The check out process was smooth and didn’t experience any issues / problem. Overall, i recommend this hotel and looking forward for future stay in this hotel.

My Wife and I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights as we were attending a wedding located nearby this hotel, and we absolutely loved our stay!! The reception / front desk team were really friendly as the moment we entered the hotel to check in they immediately greet us with such kind hospitality and the check in process was good as well. The room (superior king type) that we stayed in was spacious, clean, and comfortable. In addition, the breakfast was excellent as they served many varieties of delicious food. Furthermore, the location of the hotel is near to Plaza Ambarukmo about 8 mins drive and it's about 20 mins drive from Tugu Train station as well as the iconic Malioboro Street. Thank you Satoria Hotel for making our stay very comfortable and such a memorable one, keep up with the good work!! Hope we can stay again at this hotel in future should we travel to Jogjakarta.

The receptionist are never smile, when i check in on March 7/20 @12.30 PM and i request for wake up call @5.00 AM to Lilis (GSA) for early morning flight but nobody set it up. So i wake up @5.32 AM and get hurry for it, i call the night shift incharge he said the wake up call is set up @10.20 AM, so funny. Its better i stay in small hostel with USD 5, with friendly staff and clean room. Because i will flight early morning so i have to stay near airport thats why i choose this terrible hotel without wake up call. I know you guys build this hotel near airport for the part of the guest who lookin for their flight so please be aware. Room is clean but many ants on the table when i put my bakpia they swarm it arround. Thanks for ”Good” service Johan

Sangat fantastis... Fasilitas sepadan dan menurut saya sedikit lebih dari harganya.. Ukuran kamar tidak begitu besar. Namun tata letak dan komposisi didalam kamar membuat vibes yang nyaman. Apalagi dengan harga segitu udh ada AC dan android tv. Bs full nnton film utk menemani istrht. Letak nya juga berada di tengah kota. Sangat mudah untuk dijangkau dan dekat kemana mana.
