Reviews: [Cherry Blossom Season] One-Day Tour of Ancient Temples in Kyoto, Japan + Nara Park with Adorable Deer + Fushimi Inari Shrine

Since we were traveling with a large family, we wanted to visit both Kyoto and Nara, so after some deliberation, we chose a one-day tour. The itinerary allowed us to efficiently tour Kiyomizu-dera (Sannenzaka, Ninenzaka), Fushimi Inari Shrine, and Nara Park all in one day, which was great for saving time. I think this course is excellent for first-time visitors or families because it allows you to comfortably look around just by taking the bus! The guide is fluent in three languages (Japanese, Chinese, and Korean), so there was absolutely no difficulty communicating in Korean, and they were so kind that it left a lasting impression. During transits and at each tourist spot, they meticulously explained the history of each location, recommended restaurants, things to do, and precautions, making it a trip where we understood and enjoyed the experience rather than just looking around. On the morning of the tour, I recommend arriving on time as instructed by the guide rather than going too early. The bus arrives around that time as well, so there is no need to arrive too early just in case. Although our group was large as my grandmother and young nieces and nephews were with us, everyone was satisfied because the transportation was convenient and the itinerary was well-planned. Since Sannenzaka and Ninenzaka in Kyoto were crowded, we ate snacks at restaurants instead of having a meal and enjoyed sightseeing a bit more, which allowed us to enjoy Kyoto without feeling rushed! The most memorable part of the course was the time we spent interacting with the deer at Nara Park. I was worried that we might not be able to do the feeding experience since we went in the afternoon, but luckily, there was someone selling food at just the right time, so we were able to feed the deer even though we arrived in the afternoon. Feeding the deer roaming freely was a special memory for both the children and the adults~ The photos turned out especially well near the lake! Overall, this tour was well-balanced in terms of transportation, explanations, and itinerary, so I recommend it to families or those visiting Kyoto/Nara for the first time 👍
Reviews: Cute Deer & Cherry Blossom Tour | 1-Day Tour of Kyoto + Nara Park + Fushimi Inari Taisha + Arashiyama

I wanted to visit Nara and Kyoto, but traveling on my own felt like a burden, so I looked into day tours. I chose this one because it didn't include Kiyomizu Temple and offered an affordable price that even included tickets for the Arashiyama sightseeing train. Since the price was very low compared to other day tours, I didn't have high expectations. However, I liked that the tour time at each attraction was very generous, allowing us to see everything at our leisure. Most importantly, before arriving at each site, Guide Chuhong gave us a concise and easy-to-understand explanation of the local culture and history, which made the tour more interesting. Once we arrived, he kindly showed us where everything was and recommended snacks and food, allowing us to enjoy a variety of things during our trip. Additionally, after having free time at each site, he sent us the meeting point and time via KakaoTalk, so I didn't have to worry about missing anything and could travel comfortably. At first, I was worried because my family and I were the only Koreans on the tour, but thanks to Chuhong's fluent Korean and kind guidance, we had a wonderful trip. Thank you so much!!

We took a bus tour during our first family trip to Japan. Since all the other passengers were Korean, we felt very comfortable throughout the tour. Visiting tourist attractions in Kyoto and Nara, we had a truly fun and enjoyable time thanks to the kind guidance of Guide Oh Seok-bong. I think this will be a wonderful memory for my whole family. It is great value for money.

This trip was a perfect experience! The driver was very steady and provided us with brief explanations of the various points to note at each attraction, as well as their cultural history. He even showed us how to feed the deer, which was really helpful! Overall, I highly recommend this trip.
