Jiming Mountain is located in Zhangjiakou's Xiahuayuan District, on the north side of Jimingyi. Jiming Mountain is relatively high for the area, being surrounded by open plains. It stands aloof, offering a unique perspective. It's referred to as the "pillar of heaven." Jiming Mountain contains temples and other cultural buildings. The mountain itself is elegant and awe inspiring. Many tourists that visit Zhangjiakou would also tour this mountain. Badaling Great Wall

The Badaling Great Wall is renowned as one of the Nine Strategic Passes under heaven, combining majestic cliffs with picturesque greenery to form the most spectacular section of the Ming Dynasty fortifications. Living up to the Chinese saying "He who has never been to the Great Wall is not a true hero," this remains the premier choice for most Chinese visitors to experience the Wall. The fortress gate exhibits a trapezoidal shape, narrower on the east and wider on the west, featuring two gate towers. The eastern arch bears the inscription "Juyong Waizhen" (Frontier Town of Juyong), while the western gate displays "Beimen Suoyue" (Key to the Northern Gate). North of the fortress stretches the 12-tower Northern Wall section, while to the south lies the less crowded Southern Wall with 7 watchtowers. If time permits, we recommend exploring the Southern Wall first before tackling the more popular Northern section. ▲Walk Through Six Centuries of Golden History: A Visual Feast of Vermilion Foliage Blanketing the Great Wall ▲ As night descends, the Badaling Great Wall transforms into a gilded dragon winding through shadowed peaks, its illuminated battlements whispering tales of millennia - where imperial splendor meets enduring mystery beneath constellations of golden light. ▲Cloaked in winter's crystalline mantle, the Badaling Great Wall becomes a silver serpent coiled between snow-draped peaks, its ancient stones gilded by dawn's golden raysBeijing · 43.3km from Huailai

Guanting Reservoir is located in Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province and Yanqing County, Beijing. It is the first large-scale reservoir built after the founding of New China. The main water flow of Guanting Reservoir is the Yongding River in Huailai, Hebei Province, which has played a huge role in flood control, irrigation and power generation. . Guanting Reservoir used to be one of Beijing's main water sources. In the late 1980s, the water in the reservoir area was seriously polluted, and the water quality continued to deteriorate in the 1990s. In 1997, the reservoir was forced to withdraw from the urban drinking water system. Gardens have been built along the Guanting Reservoir, which is a scenic spot near Beijing. Guanting Lake is connected to many surrounding tourist attractions. It is only more than 70 kilometers away from Beijing Deshengmen in the south, 7 kilometers away from the famous Badaling of the Great Wall at home and abroad, and 8 kilometers away from Longqing Gorge in Yanqing in the east. Guanting Reservoir is comparable in size to Miyun Reservoir. It is sandwiched between two mountains. The water quality is good and the water surface is open. On the south bank side, there are steep rocky shores and delicate sandy beaches. In addition, various fruits with high sugar content are abundant on the nearby sandy land, as well as convenient transportation. For Beijingers, it is really a good place for leisure and vacation around.Huailai · 18.9km from downtown

The Forbidden City, also known as the Imperial Palace, was the imperial palace of the Ming and Qing dynasties, and is also the symbol of ancient China. When you are in the majestic and orderly high walls and deep courtyards, you can truly feel its former glory. ▲The long history has left behind large-scale precious buildings and countless cultural relics, which have also become the main attraction of visiting the Forbidden City today. ▲Classic attractions: The Forbidden City Corner Tower is a polygonal building with a convex plane on all four sides. It is located in Dongcheng District, Beijing. The roof has three layers. The upper layer is a hip roof with vertical and horizontal intersections. It is composed of a gable roof with flowing water on two slopes and a hip roof with four slopes. Because there are nine main ridges on this roof, it is called the Nine-ridge Hall. ▲Sundials are divided into two types according to their installation principle: equatorial and horizontal. The sundial installed using the equatorial principle is called an equatorial sundial. The key points of its production are that it must have a time plate, a latitude arc and a gnomon. When operating, the time plate must be parallel to the equatorial plane of the earth, the gnomon must be in the same direction as the earth's axis, and the shadow cast by the gnomon on the gnomon is the desired time. ▲The Treasure House is located in the Ningshou Palace area. It has a rich collection of treasures, including Buddhist supplies, ornaments, daily utensils, and treasures for appreciation. Among them, the red coral lion about 14 cm high, the Dongzhu court beads about 130 cm long, and the gold "Fengtianzhibao" seal are all rare treasures. ▲The Clock and Watch Museum is located in the Fengxian Hall in the palace. Most of the clocks on display are British products, but there are also clocks from other countries such as France and Switzerland. In addition to the timing function, these clocks are decorated with figures, birds, beasts, flowers, etc., which can also make various different movements. They are very delicately made. Among them, the copper-plated gilded writing clock, the copper-plated gilded enamel gourd-top fishing and woodcutting farming clock, and the copper-plated gilded rotating flower running man rhinoceros carrying clock are very rare.Beijing · 92.9km from Huailai

The prices weren't expensive, and most visitors came from afar by car. You had to exchange your online ticket for a paper one, and what's even more outrageous is that they charged you 5 yuan for parking when you exchanged the ticket – is this some kind of attempt to drive away customers? The scenic area is very basic, with many local residents and dilapidated houses; it doesn't feel like they're prioritizing making money over preservation.

Climbing up 400 meters took about two hours, and the descent was fifty minutes. It was a bit tiring, but the scenery was decent. It would have been even better on a clear day without smog. Some of the temples were built later. There's water for sale on the mountain for five yuan.

I have been here many times. Both adults and children like it. The water quality is good, the service is good, there are not too many people, and the indoor and outdoor areas are very good. The children like to play in the children's playground. We stayed in the clubhouse. The environment is clean and comfortable. We will try to come again at the end of August. Had such a great time at Universal Beijing Resort! The park is huge, beautifully designed, and full of amazing details. Every themed area has its own atmosphere, and there are so many fun rides, shows, and photo spots to explore. The Wizarding World of Harry Potter was definitely one of the highlights! Some rides have long waiting times, so I recommend arriving early and planning which attractions you want to try first. There are plenty of food options and shops to explore as well. Even just walking around the park is an enjoyable experience.Overall, it was such a fun day and definitely worth visiting while in Beijing. A great experience for both movie fans and anyone who loves theme parks. Would love to come back again!

Haituo Valley has a high-end design and is constantly developing. It is very popular with Beijing guests. On weekends, most of the cars are Beijing-licensed. The microclimate in the valley is very pleasant, with thin mist and cool air that is particularly charming.

I went with my parents to visit the site. We booked a two-hour guided tour, and our guide, Mr. Bai, was witty and humorous, narrating a thousand-year history in a captivating way. We also encountered the first heavy snowfall of the year, with snowflakes blanketing the ground – the scenery was breathtaking. Of course, the temperature dropped significantly, but Mr. Bai was very professional, never complaining, and continued to lead us on a lively tour. Highly recommended.

Taiwu Town is easily accessible from Beijing by high-speed rail. From Qinghe Station to Taizicheng Station, there are free shuttle buses available right outside the stations, taking about 10 minutes to reach various stops within the town. Families without cars have no problem. The town was already a bit chilly during the National Day holiday. There are many hiking trails available. We chose cable car number 4 to the top of the mountain, returned to the transfer station, and began hiking Rainbow Valley G3 from the starting point. The entire trail is 2.33 kilometers long with 15 checkpoints. It winds through forests along a wavy route, and we even encountered some squirrels – quite interesting! We continued until we reached the junction with the G4 chipmunk route, which is also the starting point for the mountain bikes. If you get tired here, you can ride down for 150 yuan. There are many curves, and children up to 12 years old can ride independently. If you choose to continue hiking, take the chipmunk route downhill. Don't stay on the paved road the whole way; after a section of paved road, turn into the pine forest path – that's the correct chipmunk route. Continue until you reach the red wooden bridge, then return to the paved road downhill to the starting point of cable car number 9, Nanshanli Hotel, Paston Hotel, and the end point. Rainbow Valley G3 + Chipmunk G4 is a 6km route that takes 2.5 hours. There are very few uphill sections, making it a fun and engaging route. It's not particularly difficult.
