Things to do in Lushan

The scenery is beautiful and well worth seeing. Although it's not widely known nationwide, it's a very famous tourist destination in Henan. However, some of the steps in the scenic area are damaged and should be repaired promptly.

I brought my 93-year-old husband to Lushan to worship the Central Plains Buddha during the Dragon Boat Festival. Seeing it in person, I realized that photos could never capture its grandeur. The entire Buddha statue is 208 meters tall, standing amidst the mountains. From afar, its golden body shines brightly, backed by rolling green hills, exuding an exceptionally solemn aura. Walking slowly up the Fuhui Avenue, the faint scent of incense along the way calmed my mind. Reaching the worship platform, my neck ached from looking up. The Buddha's gentle, lowered eyes seemed to quietly overlook the beings below, its immense size creating a powerful impact. I climbed the steps, carefully paying my respects at each hall. The Ancient Buddha Spring Temple was serene and ancient, with towering ancient trees in the courtyard, making burning incense and praying a truly peaceful experience. To get close enough to touch the Buddha's feet, you need to take an elevator. Standing beside the Buddha's feet and looking down, the entire valley unfolded before my eyes. The mountain breeze carried the fragrance of grass and trees, and all my restlessness vanished.

Exciting and fun! There are many curves, and we barely stopped in the water. We played for about an hour and a half! The kids loved it! You definitely need to buy one of those continuous water guns—it's the ultimate weapon for water fights!

Beautiful scenery, profound cultural heritage, worth visiting... The thousand-year-old Da Leiyin Temple, Wulong Waterfall Group, Hanging Plank Road, Chu Great Wall Ruins, the highest glass skybridge in Central China, the first wall-hanging slide in Central Plains, Rainbow Shouting Spring, 9DVR Vision, etc. The sightseeing bus driver has a very good service attitude! It's a good place to bring kids, mainly to see waterfalls and mountain springs, where they can play in the water. Also, the scenic area has some fairytale-style buildings that make for great photos. However, the service facilities are very inadequate, lacking essential signage.

There are many people rafting in Yaoshan, Pingdingshan. It is one of my favorite scenic spots in summer. It is very exciting and cool.

The scenic area is dirty and poorly managed. No one cleans up at all (the premise also includes the fact that some tourists have low quality and litter). In addition to the high-cost items such as the high-altitude spacecraft, glass plank road, and Bubujingxin Bridge, other facilities (such as tables, chairs and benches for rest along the way) are in ruins and no one maintains them. The names of the scenic spots are not worthy of the name and there is no comparison. In addition, I have to focus on the management and service personnel in the scenic area. ① The parking lot toll collectors charge 10 yuan per car. ② When asked how far the mountain gate manager is to go up the mountain, the answer is 10 kilometers. ××, can you say that your two or three kilometers away is 10 kilometers? ③ The funniest thing is the woman selling tickets. When asked how much it costs, she said 10 yuan per person. After seeing what the 10 yuan includes, I said there is nothing to see. Her reply is so high-level. She said with a face covered with two kilograms of powder: If you don’t go out and don’t spend a penny, what can you see? 🌞 It’s really the truth! Awesome scenic spot, awesome people👍👍👍

If you drive there, you need to drive again after getting off the highway at Yaoshan. It takes about 10 to 20 minutes. There are many things to play in it, just like an amusement park, but it was closed when we went there. The night view is also very good. It is also very convenient to have accommodation nearby.

I heard that compared with previous years, there is a new Northeast Snow House and the ski trails are wider and longer. I'm looking forward to it! The 4A scenic spot feels somewhat undeserving of its name. Most of the antique-style shops within the area are closed. The amusement rides are deserted, with neither operators nor customers in sight. This is likely due to the scarcity of tourists.
