Very easy to redeem the return ticket for the Ropeway. Stunning view of the ocean and islands from the observation deck. A highlight of my trip to Onimichi

The view from the mountaintop observation deck is quite nice, but Senko-ji Temple is further down the mountain. A word of caution: if you plan to visit Senko-ji, just buy a one-way cable car ticket; you can take the Neko no Shoso (Neko no Hossou) down the mountain on the return trip (but there won't be any cats, so don't expect it). Since you'll still have to walk down the mountain to get to Senko-ji, you wouldn't want to be out of breath after visiting Senko-ji and then have to climb back up for the cable car, right? It's much easier to just walk down the Neko no Shoso.

It's stunning! Who would have thought that this family temple took 30 years to build?

【Scenery】 It was a rainy day when I visited Senkoji Mountain Ropeway, and the wet stone steps and stairs were nice, but they were slippery and it was difficult to see the cats I wanted, so I thought it was good to use the ropeway. At the observatory, I was able to enjoy the vast scenery on the left and right.

I was really amazed when I walked in. The environment is very good. It is the best environment around. The price-performance ratio is very high.

It was a lot of fun, and the staff were very friendly. They would even crouch down to interact with the children from the same angle. However, the downside was that all the instructions were given in Japanese, which slightly diminished the overall experience.

It was a place where you could get a panoramic view of Onomichi. You can go up by ropeway for just a few hundred yen. On the way back, we walked down the mountain. It's relatively easy to access.
