What Is a Network Railcard?

The Network Railcard offers discounts on rail fares for those within its designated area (shown below). You must be 16 and over to apply for a Network Railcard, which offers 1/3 off yours and up to 3 other adults' rail fares, as well as 60% off the fares of up to 4 children (aged 5-15). The Railcard is usable during off-peak weekdays and anytime on weekends and public holidays.

The Network Railcard covers London and the South East of England, stretching as far West as Reading, as far North as Cambridge, and as far South as Brighton. The exact coverage area can be found on the official Network Railcard website or by referring to the map provided with the railcard.

The Network Railcard is valid for travel on various train operators, including c2c, Chiltern Railways, CrossCountry, East Midland Railway, Gatwick Express, Great Northern, Great Western Railway, Greater Anglia, Heathrow Connect, Heathrow Express, London North Western Railway, LNER, London Overground, Southeastern, Southern, South Western Railway, Stansted Express, TfL Rail, Thameslink, Avanti West, and more.

Network Railcard Restrictions

The Network Railcard is not valid before 10 am on weekdays (except during July and August). Additionally, there may be some blackout dates and restrictions during peak travel periods. Always refer to specific terms and conditions for additional restrictions.
