Personally, it was good to see the engines of the ship and the equipment in the steering room of the bridge of the fishing boat, but the history of fishery in this area was explained in detail.
The Akkeshi Town Maritime Memorial Hall is a facility next to the Akkeshi Town Hall in the Shinryu district of Akkeshi Town. 2 There is a silver dome in the center of the roof of the building. This is a planetarium, located at the easternmost point of Japan.
Walk back and forth from Akkeshi Station to Akkeshi Ohashi Bridge. On the way back, there was a place where the Akkeshi Town Maritime Memorial Hall and the Akkeshi Town Hall could face each other. The memorial hall with screws as a monument is a very strange building. At the top of the building is a hemispherical silver dome. This dome is actually a part that projectes a planetarium, and is the easternmost planetarium in Japan. Closed every Monday (except for national holidays). Admission fee 210 yen (free until high school)

This dome is actually a part that projectes a planetarium, and it is said to be the easternmost planetarium in Japan. Akkeshi Town has a long history and has been opened as a fishing ground since the Edo period. The history of such a fishing town was exhibited.
