Not worth a detour to visit
Basically an empty shell , the same as many other old forts along the coast. The beach between here and Vila Praia de Ancora is a fantastic stretch of sand, often deserted.

If you are searching for big, then move along. its a small fort, and was closed. no information, nothing.
Good view
a wonderful place to see shakes when there are, and if there are no live shows you can make wonderful pictures because the landscape is very beautiful

This fort is part of the many Portugal had for the various villages of the coast to defend itself, not highlighting for nothing in particular is beautiful sleeve, it is very well located.
